I had another fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The Cornish sole was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. In fact, all of the courses were excellent. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5 out of 5.

We had a fantastic dinner tonight at Hathaways. Each dish we tried was delicious and expertly presented. The cozy atmosphere and homey feel of the room added to our overall enjoyment. A delightful small restaurant producing super food and providing excellent service. On a recent stay at Old Cleeve we drove the short distance into Dunster and enjoyed two wonderful evenings there. Small and intimate, a reasonably priced menu and a excellent wine list to satisfy any taste. I cannot recommend this lovely restaurant more highly. To avoid disappointment make sure you book and don’t miss it if you’re staying in the area!

Located in a charming Medieval village, Hathaways is a small intimate restaurant that is a hidden gem. Sandro is in the kitchen cooking while Kasia takes care of the front of the house, making it a cozy and personalized dining experience. Despite not having visited in 5 years, we were pleased to see that they had managed to weather the lockdown and still maintained their high standards. The food was once again beautifully cooked and creatively presented. With only 4 or 5 tables available and open for dinner only on weekdays, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance.
