4 of us had tea and very tasty food today. The cheese scone tea is fabulous. The staff are also fabulous and so friendly and efficient. A wonderful place for a stop.

Great value Breakfast at this little cafe. Unpretentious and had everything that you could want in a full English with black pudding, mushroom, tomatoes etc as standard, toast like door stops and a great pot of tea. Visualizza piatti

Our first visit to Coniston and by chance we spotted The Green Housekeeper Cafe. The cafe was very clean with a good selection of snacks and light meals. We had a coffee and cream scone which were the best we have ever had and as we are both retired we have had many . However this was the very best , delicious freshly made scones with great coffee. The scones were that good we bought another 5 to take back to our holiday stay. The service was excellent. Would highly recommend a visit

Lovely cafe in the heart of Coniston. We had read the excellent reviews and decided to stop by after a trip on the Steam Gondola which is a 10 minute walk away. We were greeted politely and offered menus quickly. There was a great choice of food offered throughout the day. Our drinks arrived quickly and our food followed promptly. The soup and toasty combination was delicious and filling. We all enjoyed the options we chose and the hot drinks were great too. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch! Visualizza piatti
