Lovely little pub,welcoming and friendly.Drinks reasonably priced.Food is served although we didnt eat here,it looked amazing and good value for money.

It's on old style pub and looks pretty basic but don't let that put you off. Have eaten here twice English breakfast and traditional Sunday lunch and both times it was excellent.

Booked Easter Sunday dinner and was very happy with the food and service,,a large dinner was £8.50 which was good value the pub itself was nothing special a little run down maybe but fine

Wow, just wow...I have never ordered a Sunday lunch as would normally cook my own, but I have just had the very best Sunday dinner I could ever invisage, cooked to complete perfection, hot on arrival, not one fault to be had...it was worth every penny spent...Will order again

My Wife and I popped in here whilst waiting to check in at a local hotel during the afternoon. A proper no nonsense old school pub with lovely bar staff. A lady during the afternoon and a gentleman during the evening, In fact it was so enjoyable we came back again the same evening for a few more drinks before we went for our meal. This sort of establishment is disappearing fast so locals, please support it.

Family meal out for Mother’s Day was top notch. Proper home cooked roast and 1 vegetarian meal and nothing was to much problem. We asked for extra gravy and a condiment and got it straight away. All veg was fresh . Roasters as well as new potatoes. Everyone for stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. We even got a high chair for the baby who didn’t order anything!
