Everytime we visit it is very busy but staff are good and service quick. Lots of students use this place. The food is ok and reasonably priced.

Couple of local ish ales on, could have done with more to get another star. Standard spoons food and environment. Always know what you get and that’s the attraction

The place was crowded and my table could do with a good clean. It is typical of a busy pub with a high turnover. We ordered cod and chips and the fish was crispy. The hamburger was OK. Price was very cheap. Overall it was still a nice experience in a good value pub.

This pub offers a great value on traditional pub food. The lunch portion of fish and chips was very generous. Something we would pay $20 for in the States was only about $10, and it was very delicious. We usually eat at a Wetherspoons at least once when we visit because we are never disappointed.

We visited this pub before a show at the Guildhall. It was incredibly busy and we stood around waiting for a table to be free. A member of staff tried to split tables for us but in the end someone was leaving and we had their table. We ordered food and drink on the app and it came out quickly. The food was nice enough and a great price.

Disappointing breakfast if I am honest. I ordered Smashed Avocado on a muffin, which was a sight for sore eyes. The muffin was standard, and the 'smashed avocado ', was a mere smear of avocado with finely chopped red onion on top. I opted to add a 'poached egg ' to my meal. The egg came out boiled. Luckily we ordered some pancakes which really made the breakfast, as otherwise, I would have been extremely disappointed.

We went to this pub for breakfast and saw that it was a popular spot near Portsmouth's Guildhall. The breakfast menu was interesting. I went for the miner's benedict and my husband for the traditional breakfast. These were really not expensive, either. However, despite the meals looking good, they were cold when they arrived with us. Similarly, coffee and tea self service at a machine were tepid. I'm afraid we won't be having breakfast here again.

We went for full English breakfasts, great price but felt the portions were very small considering a portion of tomato was half a tomato half the size of my thumb, a portion of mushrooms was one mushroom about the same size and a portion of beans was literally one tablespoon. The sausages were delicious though. Wouldn’t have complained about the portion size considering the price if it hadn’t come out very cold. It came very quickly after ordering which was great but when it was cold you know everything had already been cooked before and just plated once ordered and no effort had been taken to make sure it was even hot. We arrived at the pub and ordered drinks and food via the app at our table. Our drinks arrived within minutes. We sat quite happy talking lots of people arriving after us. I’d then realised that the tables that arrived after us were receiving they food before us. I checked the app and it had been 35 minutes since our order. I went and asked a member of staff he eventually came back and said your ordered never reach the kitchen no explanation. I asked for the manger she came over and said the same say. No Explaining just said you can either wait or have your money back. Like I said that’s not acceptable you could at least offer compensation. Eventfully we were offered one free drink and told...
