A very lovely pub with a great friendly vibe. The new owner has completely turned the place around and the food was delicious. The staff were also very friendly and there were lots of good vegan options.

Agree with the previous reviewer that they’ve given up. Atmosphere was lacking, smell of strong body odour coming from behind the bar, no bar snacks on offer (not even crisps or nuts) and then they charged me £30 for a bottle of Prosecco. High end prices for a low end experience.

Walked here whilst staying at the local Mercure Hotel. Great find. The pub wasn’t overly busy but it was Good Friday. What made the pub was the manager or landlord? George. George engaged with every customer and knew his drinks. He was observant and despite being on his own ensured all was as it should be. Would definitely visit again

Had a great time here on a thursday night lovely efficient service from a smiley server and the food was really good. Our group had fish cakes with creamed leeks, fish and chips (excellent light batter and perfectly cooked fish), sticky toffee pudding which was delicious. Pub filled up later and felt nice and sociable. My first time will definitely return.

The Jolly Postboys has seen considerable change since I first darkened its doorway in 14 years ago. There's a sense of pride behind the bar from chaps that yearn to deliver more. COVID has proven to be a problem but that is no discredit to the team. They have worked diligently to deliver the best experience for Florence Park. I'm proud to be a local. Keep it up Josh, you do them proud.

The side dishes were served significantly earlier than our main meals, requiring us to request for them to be reheated. They were finally brought back to us halfway through our lunch. The server who attended to us was quite helpful. However, another staff member began clearing empty glasses from the table without checking if we were done with them. The food was decent but could have been warmer.

This place is nothing like a traditional pub. When we visited on a Friday night at 6:30pm, it was filled with more children than adults. There were babies and toddlers everywhere, with no child appearing to be older than 10. They were running around and squealing, creating a chaotic atmosphere reminiscent of a children's indoor play area. This is not the kind of environment you would expect in a pub. We will definitely not be returning.

It’s a food pub with no food. Overpriced gin and fancy lagers. No updates about food availability, no attempt to get in outside catering. The new manager appears more concerned about seeming cool than about warmth and customer service. The signs outside are out of date. Why not try to drum up a bit of business? Fizz nights, quizz nights, music, famous for one dish, consistently good Sunday roasts? Simple menu? Anything?? This pub on being a crèche for yummy mummies and hasn’t replaced that clientele since it dried up due to Covid. A real shame: this should be a gem.

This was a recommendation from our nearby AirBnb, and about the only place within walking distance. We were 7 adults (1 elderly , and booked for 7pm. We arrived about 5-10 mins before, to find no table prepared. Not a major problem, and we were in fact able to chose a quieter area (kiddies corner! . The staff were very friendly and helpful, no fault there. The food was very good, we were all very pleased with our meals, although we did feel they were overpriced. There were no desserts , which was a very big disappointment.
