"Every year our walking club has its end of season meal here. It's a first class place with excellent service, beautiful food and, very, efficient and pleasant staff. The most important thing though: without somewhere to park our coach, we wouldn't be there, in the first place! Suffice to say, there IS parking! Clean and well-presented dining area that was quite quiet for a Friday evening. Nice food, cooked well. The steak of the mixed grill was a little gristly in places, the rest was excellent. Been here a few years ago every time we passed it the car park was full so we went at 12 00 and got a seat on Halloween food was excellent and the staff very good will obviously go back again Parking: Lots of room and it's good after 12 00 but gets busy later Price per person: £30–40 Recommended dishes: Steak and Ale Pie, Custard Parking space: Plenty of parking

"If you 're into the whole busy, family beach visit then this place is for you. They 've recently added a Greggs and Co-op around the other side of where the chippy is (behind it). As well as a quaint little cafe on the corner. You can 't miss it, it 's as you drive into the car park, on the right side. There 's a free park for the kids, a nice green for the dogs to run around, with seating placed around the edges and near the long (life guards) building, it 's the one with the taller part of the building towards the seafront. The beach is pretty much always kept clean as well as the hard paved concrete walking area alongside it. You also get a great view out to sea, minus the few wind turbines. Dogs are allowed around the area and there 's even a mobile, self service dog wash to get all that sand off before getting back into the car. There 's plenty of accessible parking too, just as you enter the car park, located right next to the cafe. There are also public toilets located in the 'long building ' on the opposite side of the cafe chippy. As if you 're walking towards the sea. Pretty sure there 's a small charge to use them. The chip shop service is good, but it can get really busy, so be prepared to wait. The food is 'alright '. It 's not the best chippy and the prices just seem to be forever climbing, but it 's okay. If you want cheaper cans bottles of pop, I 'd suggest using the co-op. There 's also an ice cream van that usually parks up near the accessible parking area. "Yes our daughter was 10 minutes late. But booking a table at 12pm we didn't expect our food to arrive till 1.10pm. The beef was so tough we really needed steak knives. Overall very poor. No one asked how our meals were, for good reason obviously. Never mind. Lesson learnt. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"I recently visited the Delaval Arms for the first time and had a lovely lunch with my friend as part of their Christmas fayre. What a fantastic pub! I absolutely loved the decor. We received a warm welcome from Sam Christian, which set a great tone for our visit. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, offering excellent value for money. The service was outstanding, and I can’t wait to return! I'm excited to try out the new menu. Overall, I would rate the price per person at £20–30, with food, service, and atmosphere all getting a perfect 5 out of 5."

"My family and I visited Mandarin Bay on Sunday night. Unbeknownst to us there was an all you can eat menu available, which we chose. The starters were either self service or served directly from the kitchen. This meant the soups and crispy wantons from the kitchen were fresh and piping hot. There was a very good main course menu and the service was extremely efficient. I did find the black bean sauce was too salty and the lemon chicken was served with the sauce poured over the chicken instead of on the side but overall it was delicious. We will definitely be going there again."

"Earlier this year, we relocated to the area and have since sampled all of the nearby Indian restaurants. Following a recommendation at a local pub, we decided to order a takeaway from Red Naga tonight. The online ordering process was simple and efficient. We selected a delivery time of 7pm and the driver arrived a few minutes early, providing excellent service. The food was delicious and flavorful. We highly recommend Red Naga and will certainly be ordering from them again."
