"Went back to this Pub for a Valentine’s Meal with friends. Eight of us in total. The staff were busy still decorating the Restaurant when we arrived early as we had pre dinner drinks. They made a lovely job of it with special balloons grouped...on walls, red table runners decorated with Valentine Crackers, Valentine Dice, Valentine Jokes and Red Heart and Ladybug Chocolates. Also lit night light candles in holders. We pre booked our meal and everything was as ordered. Starters were varied but we all had Fillet Steak which was great. We also chose different desserts, most of us going with Lemon Cheesecake. One of our party had Cheese and biscuits which could easily have fed three. Good variety of cheese. Lots of empty plates and happy punters! The Restaurant wasn’t packed but quite busy with other parties eating. The Prosecco was nice and dry, how I personally like it, which was complimentary."

The food was excellent and the staff really friendly. Definitely one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back

Used to drink here pre covid thought would see how it is with the new owners, popped in for a quick drink with a friend, ended up ordering some food, was pretty quick and good value; will return again!

Thank you Moonrakers for making me feel so welcome during my visit to Cousin Joy Anderson and dear Aunty Betty. So needed to find pub in Pewsey showing the football and struck gold here. Loved the vibe atmosphere the staff and we all blew the...roof off at full time.

It was a very positive surprise food wise. Staff was super friendly (as always) and food was EXCEPTIONAL and I rarely use that as a description. I can 100% say it deserves 5 stars! Amazing food, friendly staff, lovely looking pub and affordable prices. We...will definitely be going back!

avoid this place for a long time after a bad experience there. someone recommended us to eat Sunday, so we thought we would do it again. the roast was perfect as the service. puddings were not great and extremely overpriced. we asked. a child version of what we had, but were charged for an adult pudding. it doubles the price of the meal, but now we know the next time.

come for a lunch was not great the menu. the staff sat down and eat there lunch not properly dressed and you come with home shoes. eat the meal before we ask ourselves how to eat. that was nice that the chips, the tweeper rings were fish salad was from the date and brown. no salat cream had to use salat dressing. the staff is very annoying and not polite. the chips and swirl rings are cold.

Went with friends as used a lot before covid. Has changed hands. On arrival a young child was sat talking loudly on her iPad and another child running around. Service with drinks was quick as was the ordering. We orderd starters and mains. Starters took...45 mins to be served. Food wasn’t that great. Main course was served straight away. Chips were warm. They only had brioche buns. Again food wasn’t that great. Puddings. Chocolate fudge cake was dry. We didn’t complain as the man serving us seemed a tad stressed. Pub was very quiet. Sorry to say we won’t be going back. It was around £25 each and not worth it

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
