"Pretty good steak house very much looking to emulate Hawksmoor. It doesn't quite hit those heights with its food but a smaller, more personal restaurant is arguably a better experience certainly for couples. Starters were good Hummous and duck bon bons were both great choices and possibly the highlights of the meal. Steaks were as expected well above what you'd find at most restaurants but not something I'd remember for years to come. Desserts were just okay but I guess it's not their forte. Overall a good restaurant and a solid choice if you're a fan of steaks."

excellent meal in the old bank. the service, the ambiente and the eating were error-free. especially a steak house there is something on the menu for every taste. would definitely return if the next one in the opposite thank you!

Wife and I enjoyed a fabulous last evening in Lynton here. Chose a cut of fillet and must say it was probably the best steak we've ever had. Staff were enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable. Would come back just for this place

Best Steak I've Ever Had!!My partner and I had a delicious dinner at The Old Bank, The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely beautiful and we had the best steak we've ever had. 100% recommend and will be coming back.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at the Old Bank. The food and drinks was spectacular and the service was amazing. The waiters and the owner accommodated our every need, and made sure that we were having a great time.If you are looking for a perfect steak and a great evening, then you should visit the Old Bank!

Fantastic cafe with a welcoming atmosphere for both kids and dogs. They provide treats for the little ones and furry friends, which kept them entertained while we placed our order. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. We definitely plan on returning the next time we're in the area!

A very quirky cafe precipitously situated in Lynton, which obviously has a lot of love and care invested in it. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. The ambience is very pleasant indeed. I had a vegetable curry, which was tasty and sufficiently portioned. This place also has one of the most unusual entrances to a toilet that I’ve ever seen!

Great food and staff but being our first time didn't understand how to order second guy explained that you didn't have to buy a huge T bone they are meant to be shared. Really big cuts some over a kilo. So the problem as I see it is if you are 2 or a group you have to order the meat so all like it my wife like medium I like rare so would be a problem.
