"We're regular visitors to the Cotswolds, and one of the highlights of our visits is always this lovely shop. The cafe had been closed for all our previous visits due to Covid, and we've been looking forward to it re opening, as the shop and farm produce is all such consistently good quality, and ethically sourced. We weren't disappointed: I had a delicious curry, and my partner enjoyed an enormous plate of mixed salads. It's the kind of food you feel healthier for just looking at! Full of good things, but also really hearty and satisfying. It's a lovely environment, with a natural but colourful vibe, overlooking the farmland where most of the food comes from. The service is always good as well though this isn't fast food, and is priced accordingly. This is the kind of business that deserves subsidies to help it with the education that's part of the enterprise, and making organic food available and affordable for everyone who wants it. We went for a walk afterwards around the farm trail, though some lovely woodland and the edges of rolling fields. It's interesting to read the story of this farm, which was clearly way ahead of the game in combining tasty food with care for the land and climate. I'm already looking forard to being back in July, sitting outside the cafe with a plate of good food, and walking the farm trail again."

Limited range of options. But very nice. We visited a few times when in Cotswolds. The shop is great too and the farm walk that can do is very good. Shop and cafe are quite expensive, but very high quality

My wife and I are regular visitors to Cirencester Farm shop/cafe, particularly at Sunday Lunchtimes. I always have the meat option and my wife the vegetarian dish. I’ve never had a Sunday Roast as good as this anywhere. Highly recommended.

I always come to this restaurant with my friends for lunch and it never disappoints. We like to browse the colorful shop first and pick up a few goodies before enjoying a delicious hot bowl of soup with homemade bread. The soup is always made from scratch and tasty, although it may need a bit more seasoning. I love this place and highly recommend it.

This is a great spot for those who enjoy vegetarian cuisine. I am not a vegetarian myself, but I must say, they really know how to make vegetables delicious. My personal favorite was their beetroot and fennel gratin! They do serve meat on Sundays, which is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and the views of their farm are lovely, making for a complete dining experience.

Some things great, others… not so much. Expensive food shop, but quality really high (mostly) so that’s fine. The cafe is very expensive for what it is, and on,y just manages to make you feel it’s justified. The whole thing feels slightly amateurish but not in a wholly charming way. Worth it for a coffee or bowl of soup but I’d suggest you first managed expectations. Not allowing dogs is a real shame.

It should be so good but it’s not. There is always a queue for food and the staff seem a bit hapless and seem to have little initiative but I feel maybe they are not allowed to. Having had a poor experience a few times I would put this down to poor training and management. The shop is good but there is a sign at the till saying “ no returns” .some of the clothes are quite expensive so it put puts me off buying anything. This could be a lovely place to visit and we keep coming back hoping. Please get your act together.

We visit the farm shop once a week and buy a lot from them for our daily needs which includes vegetables, fruit, cheese and other things like buckwheat noddles, bin bags. We have regularly a coffee and a cake and often lunch. This year, I bought for the first time also plants in Spring time which were a nice addition to my existing plants in the garden. I also visited the Open Fay in June. The entire atmosphere is enjoyable and inspiring.I love the shop, the cafe and the Indian department. The staff are always friendly. This farm shop is a different world.

We were visiting with our friends from the Cotswolds. It was a disappointing experience. There are a number of aspects that were poor. The meat was ringed throughout with fat similar to pork belly and there was no crackling. We expected a nice premium loin of pork. Other diners also left fatty meat on the side of their plates. The carrots were hard and the potatoes were not properly roasted or browned. The gravy was glutinous which was not pleasant. For a premium priced roast this fell well short of expectations. The apple crumble deserts were poorly presented with a tiny blob of cream.

I absolutely love Abbey Farm shop. The shop is divided into two sections - one offering a variety of food products and the other showcasing beautiful Indian products such as fabrics and bedlinens (Rani fairtrade cottons). The food shop is fantastic, with many products sourced directly from the farm such as vegetables, fruits, dairy products (including cheese and yogurt), bread, and various meats (hams and sausages). Despite the top-notch quality and freshness of the products, as well as the fairtrade practices in place, the prices are quite competitive. The staff is friendly, helpful, and laid-back, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cafe is also great, with a lovely seating area that over...

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
