Lovely place to stay. Stayed here for a night as we were seeing the drifters at the theatre. Staff were friendly, Mary was lovely. Food was great, brilliant service

A beautiful restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Customer service was good as was the room. A big comfy bed and very clean. Would recommend and would stay again.

stay for 2 nights in a huge bedroom with a super king bed. we had the first night that was well prepared. the pub has an elegant but cozy feeling. the parking lot is small and we had to park on the road. have a parking card in the first night, but finally found parking in the opposite in certain zones. most are limited to 2 hours, but are ok over night and at the weekend

Spent £165 would like to have spent more. Service was not good, we ate at 8pm by 9.30pm we would have liked a dessert. We were not offered, the restaurant was not busy. I realise we could have made the waiter aware however it was obvious by now the kitchen was clearing up. We would have had more drinks if the waiter had asked too. No bitters, very poor. Will not visit again. Shame the food for our starter and main tasted very good just poor service or no service.

We had a last minute meet up with friends, just an early but brill dinner. Really impressed with the food we ordered my husband and I ordered the tiger steak and it was perfect. Had a side of stir fry veg which was well worth it and wine brill ! Service was professional and spot on ! We dined with friends who ordered a real mix and all really enjoyed. I would thoroughly recommend the tiger steak one of the best meals we have had in a long time, as a local to Ashley Cross great to find somewhere else to go !! Visualizza piatti

Went for our work Christmas party. Very average food. Seeing the chef tipping the food from Tupperware boxes onto the plate from a microwave is far from ideal. One of our party changed the order two days before, which wasn’t communicated, so received the wrong meal. Then waited 15mins for the right food One of our party was veggie but received a Turkey pie. This is so disappointed All in all very poor through out. Didn’t even get a free drink to say sorry. When it’s a table of 10, spending hundreds of pounds, thats pretty poor. Won’t be returning.

We were the only diners in the restaurant as we arrived early, we had a lovely bottle of primitivo while waiting which gets the 1 star. The rest was utterly appalling, the menu reads fantastically but what it delivers is slop. We has the prawn Thai bao, as yo u can see from my picture this was just a microwaved bao bun filled with ice cold crab mayo which was mostly mayo and several dangerous large shards of shell. Vile I didn't eat it. The main ls my partner had a panang lamb shank which had been microwaved (and was admitted to) shocking for a charge of £19 you should be ashamed. We booked a table for 6.00 pm, the meal was for my 70th birthday which I explained at the time of booking. This was not acknowledged by the main waitress (could have been a manager). There was also no reference to a gluten free menu option as confirmed during the telephone booking. My husband and I had to check everything and the serious implications of having gluten were not entirely understood by the nice young woman who served us and she kept having to clarify with the chef what was what…it should have been part of her training.
