Great service but the app wasn't great it was very slow and wasn't clear about which drinks were included with the food. That said the staff were friendly and helpful the food was lovely and served quickly and everywhere was spotless.

Amazing place to have a meal. They've done a great job in keeping with the old picture House. Friendly staff at bar..my steak was really over done. But this was the first time in a wetherspoons. The Place made up for this and my wife's brunch was spot on.

Has been many years since I've been here. I tried to complete my Staffordshire Spoons tour with reviewing them all last year, but this one was closed. Today I met two Issies (Maybe Isabelle). Friendly staff that are doing a great job. I enjoyed a Guinness and a chicken wrap with chipotle for 6.20. Didn't go out to view the terrace due to the cool temperature for the time of year. Lockdown delivery was as fast and eating as always before place, came 20mins before the website timer, (that is not a complaining) we starved and really appreciated the fast delivery. I can recommend saving ribs and cantonese sauce with a hawn and king prawn curry. good quality and reasonable trips, £1.20 for delivery... not worth it that I keep the car out, well made fountain house the wok hot.

for a wetherspoons pub this is definitely one of the better. the building is fantastic and has maintained all its original features. they sometimes show films on the original screen at the front of the pub (it was a cinema before! and to christmas have to see Christmas films. drink are usually cheap and eating is as expected at a wetherspoons (shaft, not big, not bad. the table service is available via the app. they have now also opened a balcony area in the upper floor on the back of the pub. if she can get a table up there, it's a great place to watch over the pub. destined to make a stop when they are in stafford.

Well, what to say about this place... It's a pub, that was a cinema and they have a big screen above the bar that isn't turned on, such a waste. They've got old movie posters all over the walls. They should have some old black and white movies playing to really hit it home. But, that's just my opinion. Anyway... The pub is kinda cool with its layout. There's multiple floors, one looking down on the next. Unfortunately, if you're sitting at the top the toilets are 4 floors down and if you work there, that's a lot of stairs to keep running orders up!
