beautiful atmosphere. malbec wein was beautiful, along with my Sunday roast. highly recommended for quality and friendliness.

best food in east sussex. we were on many places. but this place has a simply delicious meal. fantastic customer support. recommended for the family with children and dogs.

I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian wellington roast at this restaurant (vegan option available as well). The side dishes were also quite good. The staff were accommodating to our table that included two babies.

We were staying just down the road and had a super dinner here; the service was great! We were warmly welcomed and had some lovely food! The fish chips were great! A good selection of beers too!! Highly recommended!!

We’ve been coming here for years, but unfortunately the roast now just wasn’t for us, the veg, potatoes, gravy even the apple sauce has been laden with herbs (so your whole dinner tastes exactly the same and is so overwhelming) and the crackling on the pork was so rubbery you couldn’t cut it. While on a long cross country dog walk, we stumbled upon this pub and decided to stop in for a beer and some food. We were warmly greeted by the staff and found a seat inside with our two dogs. We started with homemade garlic bread, which was delicious and topped with cheese. For our main courses, we both opted for burgers - I chose the pork and chorizo, while my partner went for the beef burger. The portions were generous and the burgers were fresh and flavorful, not your typical supermarket variety. We were in search of a good place for a Sunday Roast and the reviews led us to The Plough. We were not looking for the type of pub that offered 'amazing value for money' or 'more than you could eat', so the menu and reviews convinced us to give The Plough a try. The car park was a bit small, but since we arrived early it was not an issue. Our table was ready for us as we had made a reservation. The Sunday menu selection was not extensive, but it had everything we were looking for. Once we tasted our chosen main courses, we knew we had made an excellent choice.
