the best food and cake! I was already a couple of times with my family and every time when the meals were brilliant! cakes are fantastic! would definitely recommend big supplement to bolsover, well made!

I the nabeby tried the evening menu last night can honestly say it is absolutely brilliant. This place is amazing! The staff were friendly and the coffee was true barista quality, with a rich coffee flavor. Although we didn't order any food, the cakes and dishes I saw being served all looked delicious. I really hope that my upcoming house move goes through so I can make this coffee bar my new local spot and slowly try out everything on the menu.

I discovered a gem! The cafe is perfect for having lunch with friends after a visit to the Castle. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, all homemade. We couldn't resist the amazing cakes they offer. I can't praise this place enough. I hope more people choose to visit and support them in these tough times for businesses. Thank you.

Simply excellent little cafe in the centre of Bolsover . Doing a slog down the M1 south and Bolsover only a few minutes off the motorway) is a great stop off avoiding all the dreadful service stations. This cafe is dog friendly as well. A big plus. I enjoy starting my day with a delicious cup of coffee and a scone, brownie, or cookie from The Pump. The coffee is excellent and always satisfies my caffeine cravings, while the brownies are some of the best I've ever tried. The food has a homemade taste to it and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. If you haven't been to The Pump yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. It's definitely worth a visit.

Glad we rang ahead to book a table for lunch as it was full when we arrived and clearly popular! Yes, it did take a while to be served but we weren't in a rush and the lady serving was rushed off her feet. Once ordered the food didn't take that long to arrive and all was great. Jacket potatoes with perfect crispy skins! Amazing selection of home made cakes, all tasted yummy. Saw someone have the afternoon tea, which looked v nice. The tea room is not far from the castle entrance and parking in the town is free.

First time here for us was recommended by two friends who live in Bolsover ..we drive 100 miles from Bedfordshire every 6-8 weeks and bring our poodle to the groomers and breeders for his hair cut. And we have something to eat whilst waiting the 2 hrs for him. Today we came and had a lovely breakfast and one of the nicest cappuccino I have ever had! The service was brill , food perfect and the lady who served us a delight I didn’t get her name but she’d just come back from her holiday.. so thank you for a lovely breakfast and we will be back again.
