21 years lived near, first visit. faster, friendly service and fabulous eating. huge, fruity garden and many underwear seats. often comes back.

Went to try the new menu and cocktails. The food was lovely piping hot and very tasty. New cocktails are delicious. And as usual the staff are wonderful

Went for lunch with a friend we Ordered two fish finger sandwiches they were disgusting no fish all fatty batter. The garden needs attention sat on the patio but it felt more like a building site.

Went for lunch here recently, absolutely loved it. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious, service even better. Would definitely recommend a trip here. Plenty of parking with a great range of drinks and lovely menu.

I had recently a meal in this pub, I have no mistake with the food, but it is the environment, tables need to rebuild, the window strips had floor in dirt and the walls are stained. extraordinary lunch at our first visit to the quart pot directly in front of wickford. some good options for vegetarian vegan also. our waitress was extremely helpful to make suggestions for a like-minded vegan. I had the Cannelini bean cake and my onkel had the...Roast pork. the only niggle was that there were no cracks with the roasted wine, but we were warned against it so that extra yorkies and roasts were given. eating was nice, piping hot, what should be. good selection of drinks here too. make sure they book for Sunday meals as it was packed

A nice lunch with a friend on a Monday lunchtime. My beer battered fish and chips was large, good quality and good value. I paid the extra for the optional bread and butter and this was nice fresh bread. In retrospect I would have ordered...garden peas rather than minted (mushy) peas. My friend had the beef pie of the day (and chose mash over chips) which looked good and was full of meat with an impressive puff pastry top. I assume he enjoyed it, but as I was paying he was unlikely to complain! Staff were friendly and helpful although it was very quiet on a Monday lunchtime so they were not that busy. what a fantastic night, gemma was the perfect person to book the venue, she gave us all the advices to make a perfect night, thank you. we originally wanted the marquee, but was not available so they offered the pavillons on the terrace area. this on the reflexion was so much more beautiful, had the bank seat with the heatings and 4 6x3 mtr pavillons all decorated together with the twinkle lights. we were allowed to decorate them on the afternoon. there was a certain room for the dj, who was a great and beautiful opposite for a bit of dancing. the food was very nice when there was something we could change, was to order more chicken goujons as these were so delicious that they had gone immed...
