You can't really go wrong with Charles Well Pizza, Pots, and Pints venues. Always top quality pizzas. It would get a 5 star review if only they stocked a premium draught Ale. GhostShip is not to my taste. Too hoppy!

Just had a lovely early evening midweek meal at the Radcliffe. The bar staff were so friendly and helpful and the pizzas were great, I went for the Lardo and my wife had a Shroom. Both brilliantly cooked. We will be back again very soon.

The pizza was very delicious. However the service was very poor. We waited for 1 hour for 2 pizzas. When the pizzas finally arrived, nobody apologised for the waiting. I understand it was a little busy, but they should have warned us about the waiting when we ordered the food (normally in other pubs the staff tell the customers if there are delays). Plus the drinks are so expensive.

We have been to Radcliffe Arms many times since we moved to Hitchin, for meals with friends and also takeaway. It is always fantastic and is our go to for pizzas in Hitchin. They also have a great range of food on the menu, the mac and cheese and brisket being some of our favourites. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, so can’t recommend it enough, a wonderful place to go.

Had evening meal last Saturday. Pizzas (Shroom and Pesky as good as ever, salads and kohlrabi fritters lovely (well, the Mediterranean salad's a bit of a misnomer and had more wet lettuce than a limp handshake . We recently visited the Radcliffe Arms on our usual Friday. With only 1000 characters to use I do not have enough good words to say about it. The best pizza, pasta pots around. Perfect for all occasions either with the family or friends. I would definitely recommend the Moretti on tap, goes down a treat. After multiple beverages at this fine establishment our wives/ girlfriends are very happy with our early nights.

one of my favorites in hitchin. the menu changes quite often, but there is always at least one large vegan pizza option (or one that can be changed by swapping for vegan cheese), as well as one or two of the one-cables meal, plus appetizer and desserts - they do a vegan brownie or ice cream sonnenade. the pub itself is welcoming and funny, and the garden is great. social distancing has been good when we were in the reopening, and ordering via the app is very convenient. updated by previous review on 2020-08-06

This was my first visit to The Radcliffe Arms and my Husband joined me, for a Christmas meet up, with a local group I'm involved in. It was nice to meet in person, in a relaxed atmosphere. Some people I'd only seen on Zoom before. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and drink. I had the vegan Spicy Koftas, with a Christmas Ruby Ale. He had the pizza of the month, which had fig and prosciutto on, with Lucky Saint non alcoholic beer, as he was driving. He found it delicious and commented on the difference a wood smoke oven made.
