The food was good but neither myself nor my guest liked the service. It was quite off hand almost as though we were doing him a favour. Shame.

The food was up to your usual standard, but with so few other diners the ambience was not as good. We were in the bar and it needs more pictures etc.

Great food, atmosphere and service. A lovely pub in Minchinhampton. The Sunday lunch exceeded all expectations and I would definitely dine here again. Visualizza piatti

The evening meal was excellent. They selection was great and very good for vegetarians. The food was hot and we had more than enough. Very high standard. Breakfast in the morning was also excellent and there was a good selection of both hot and cold food. Would definitely go there again.

We were recommended this pub, and although it was quite out of our way, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it is under new management, and despite not being particularly busy, the service was incredibly slow. We had to ask for our drinks three times, and ended up being charged for drinks we never received. The food also arrived cold and had to be sent back. Sadly, we will not be returning.

The food was fantastic when it finally arrived. We ordered the Beef Wellington, which was prepared to order, so it did take some time. That would have been acceptable if we hadn’t waited 40 minutes for our first drink, and then our meal took even longer than we were informed. Had a lovely Sunday lunch ,food was very tasty, it was not very warm but nonetheless good,however we were left waiting far too long for food ,had to give up waiting for our plates to be cleared (over 30mins) after finishing by which time we gave up thinking of having dessert so went to bar ,paid left.Such a shame as it’s such a pretty restaurant but definitely staff aren’t on the ball,nobody enquired whether food was ok or needed anything else etc ,just those basic things that make you feel valued as a customer

Service very poor. On the table when we arrived had the wrong menu. Menu was changed to the correct one, Sunday. Nobody came to take order, we had to go and find a waiter. Food arrived and was very good. Took a long time for the plates to be cleared, not everything was taken, left gravy jugs and empty glasses on the table. Did not bother with desert, just had tea coffee. The table next to use had the same poor service and just left as soon as they had finished their main meal. Nobody came with the bill, so paid at the bar

We drove up from Cornwall to meet friends and got caught in terrible holiday traffic. Our reservation was for 2:15, which put us close to the kitchen closing at 3. I called to inform them that we would be late and might miss last orders. The woman who answered was very understanding and friendly, reassuring us not to worry and mentioning that we could have bar snacks, which are available all day, if needed. Fortunately, we arrived at 2:58 and were allowed to order from the full menu without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious. I'm so happy to see this delightful pub fully back on track!
