"We had lunch at the Mill Wheel , we both had fish chips with garden peas . I had a small one my partner had a large . Every thing was presented very nicely, the managers where really nice people, when I said I thought my fish was a bit too small ,he offered me a sweet of apple crumble ice cream. Which was very kind off him . I think the menu could have just a bit more verity. We shall return when in the area."

"we found this place on facebook and visited last night for the first time my elternary anniversary. the unique atmosphere was worth the travel time of nottingham. we arrived early and were asked if we like to sit on the bar and have a drink while we were waiting. a little disappointed no one offered us the drink, but we set ourselves very quickly. the staff seemed young, but they all did very well to serve us and make sure that everything was as we liked it. the food proportions were huge and more than to fill, so much, we could not fit dessert in lol. the shakes were great and so many to choose. they surprised my parents with a little dessert that I thought was a nice note, as they had asked what we celebrated when I arranged to book. we didn't expect anything, so it made us smile. one of the waitresses even came to ask if we want to see our picture again a nice note. all in all a good meal, good service and a fab atmosphere and a pleasant night."

"Dreadful place avoid it !! Rude chef who decided to engage in a tirade slagging off paying customers when asked if a slight change to a dish could be made (perfectly prepared to pay extra) dark dingy hole, needs a lesson in customer service . Doing so well on a Friday, only 2 customers in entire place and can afford to disrespect customers really ?!!! When this place goes to the wall they will have been the authors of their own misfortune. Arrogant and amateur Needs a visit from Gordon Ramsay. No clue! Despicable place !!"

"We were celebrating a friends belated birthday and we visited for an Afternoon Tea for ladies. The staff were amazing, nothing was to much for them. All dietary requiremenst were met and the tea coffee kept coming. The sandwiches cakes were delicious and when we were to full to eat anymore we were offered a container to take home a goody box. I would have recommended this place to everyone I know. Keep up the great work folks."

"Sad reflection that what purports to be a genuine Italian restaurant does not live up to its image. Although pleasant polite service the food on this occasion was mediocre at best, no italian music to help you relax to instead just modern music blaring out, expected a more atmospheric experience especially for the price, will really think twice before contemplating dining here again. Disappointing evening out 5/10."
