Would not recommend this place for a meal we had a lunchtime meal fish chips chicken chips fish was ok chicken was terrible we couldn’t eat the chips

Food was good, service was quick. Does seem that all the waiting staff could do with more training however. Overall a pleasant experience and I would visit again.

Located conveniently on the main road leading into Bakewell, this restaurant is a great place to stop for a delicious pie and a pint! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and they have efficient Covid precautions in place. The interior is typically decorated in the style of a late Jacobean Inn, dark but comfortable.

Went for lunch ordered 3 Sausage Dinners and a Scampi and Chips Chips cold but didn't have time to complain as needed to back at coach station. Thought I'd have enough time as we went in at 1.50 and needed to meet coach at 3.30.
