"My husband and I are from Germany and were taken out to eat here during a family visit. Expecting some ordinary pub food, we were surprised with excellent dishes instead. It really felt more like eating in a (very good) restaurant than in a pub. The service staff was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return here when visiting our family again."

Just had Sunday lunch here with my in-laws who were 78 today. Beautiful meal fabulous staff.....would strongly recommend.

A fabulous meal to celebrate exam results, the lamb and chicken were very tasty and well presented but the award has to go to the fillet. Friendly staff and great puds to finish.

Excellent Sunday roast, could not fault it . We both had the roast beef and it was delicious . The staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back . I think Sunday lunch is most probably the hardest to get right but the gravy was spot on and the vegetables and roast potatoes just like home .

Well after a battle to find due me only ever cycling past ..it all looks so different in the car ...it was worth the drive...the young lady at the bar who directed us to our seat was friendly and polite the table service was 1st class and the food was outstanding ....Lovely pub/restaurant ...as arnie says we'll be back Regards JD
