"We had an incredibly disappointing experience and will not be returning to this restaurant. While the décor and design are nice, the restaurant is severely lacking in proper management. The assistant manager is a major issue, as he seemed more interested in chatting with the kitchen staff and checking his phone than attending to the needs of customers. He was very rude to a nearby table of four when they had a problem with their drink, refusing to apologize and instead arguing with them before simply removing the cost from their bill. Despite asking him twice for the bill, we had to pay him because he was too preoccupied chatting with the kitchen staff. It was disappointing to see the other hardworking employees being let down by the manager, who seemed more focused on his phone than interacting with customers. The owner should reconsider recommending this restaurant to others."

We enjoyed our meal, but it would have been much better if everything had been served at the same time. The service was mediocre, but the staff was very friendly. The desserts were not as good as the appetizers and main courses.

Excellent service and food. Very relaxed and we booked again in December. Open Table must change the address although the pub in Ashington is not Pulborough and is not Kent in West Sussex. It is confusing to place Pulborough as a completely different place. Thank you.

"We live in Pulborough and go to this restaurant regularly. We are very lucky to be able to walk there. The food is delicious. Our favourites are the flavourful and tender tamarind duck and the Panang Curry. We always order a side of steamed vegetables which are prepared expertly, fresh and firm. The employees are friendly and helpful...especially the amazing, First. She is wonderful."

"This cozy café can fit around 20 people, but it was a bit crowded during our visit. We were there on a Saturday, so we anticipated some delays in service. The service was indeed slow, but we enjoyed our coffee and bacon sandwiches. I was pleased to find that they offered gluten-free bread, which was delicious. The bacon was crispy but a bit too salty for my taste. The coffee was satisfying. The café is located on a main road, so there was some traffic noise. It's conveniently close to the main car park. They offer brown seeded gluten-free bread, which is quite tasty. Parking is available in the main car park just across the road."

"I cannot speak highly enough of The Crown Inn. It's always difficult finding somewhere to eat when you are a vegan. I had been recommended The Crown Inn by another vegan, so thought we would give it a try. I called and spoke to the lovely son, who was so helpful and accommodating. I thought the vegetable pie was vegan but was told it's vegetarian, however I was immediately told that he was sure that they could do it as a vegan pie. Anyway, yesterday the lovely chef (landlord) made a vegan pie especially for me. It was the best pie I had ever had. I was so touched that a pub would go out of their way to do this for me. Many pubs seem to think us vegans are nothing but a pain and if they do do something vegan, it is so spicy you can't taste anything else. Besides the lovely meal we were made so welcome by all the staff. It is a family run pub..... and what a lovely family they are. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for the lovely meal. Denise and Roger Vegetarian options: It was the vegan options that I was interested in. There is a great choice and they even do vegan garlic bread"

"the corn store pulborough the lady's behind the till in cafe were lovely but old lady behind till In shop was horrible. today we went into the cafe and ask if parrots were allowed in the staff behind the till said yes as long as they don't fly. we said that's fine as they don't fly but we're in bird bags anyway. we sat down, spent a fair bit of money, then before we were leaving the old stuck up lady said you aren't allowed in here anymore as your bird screeched twice and other customers were annoyed. we asked the other customers if our birds were annoying them and they all said we didn't even realise you had birds in here. when actually they have all double doors open with screaming motor bikes going passed so you can't hear eachother talk and the lorry's are vivrating the whole place. she gave us horrible eye contact the whole time to make us feel uncomfortable. I said to the lady you've let dogs in here what happens if they bark? sh replied with they will be kicked out too if they bark and same wih noisy children. food was awful (which I'm more than happy to diguss) she was very rude and we was spoken to disgustingly. There were 6 people that's happy to vouch my opinion so more than happy to explain further. so please be aware this is not an animal or children friendly place."

"My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a birthday getaway and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The service was impeccable, with the staff being extremely polite, accommodating, and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and tranquil. We dined in the restaurant for my birthday meal, and the food and service were excellent. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We decided to have the cooked breakfast, which was an extra cost as the continental breakfast was included in the price, and once again the food was cooked perfectly. This hotel is a great choice for a high-quality getaway, and we will definitely be returning in the future to dine in the restaurant for a lovely evening meal. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. The food and drinks offered a fantastic variety and were cooked to perfection."
