"A random choice for lunch today. Pies, mash and roasted parsnips. And some good coffee too. And whilst we were eating, the TV screen played old photos of Hull, and also referenced the films and TV series shot on the high street outside the front door!! Certainly worth a visit, for food and surroundings, even if you've lived in Hull all your life!! 4.25 /5. Took a while for the food to come, but when it did... marvelous!!"

Nice place very long wait for food and was very bland , pie had 2 pieces of meat in not worth the money

The pies are amazing at this restaurant. However, the gravy could be less watery with the side orders. It is a fantastic place to visit because of their gluten-free pie options.

I had the Moo Blue (Beef steak stilton with mash gravy, £12.90) which was very tasty and well presented. Ordering and service was quick and easy. Can eat in or outside in the beer garden. Nice experience all round.

The pies at this restaurant in Hull are top-notch! The staff is friendly and the decor is fantastic. It can get quite busy on weekends, but it's worth the wait. They also offer a variety of allergen-friendly options, including an incredible gluten-free and vegan pie made with jackfruit "meat."
