"Drinks and food were great as always but I would really like to mention tonight the patience and humility of one of the staff who was wearing a blue tshirt and he had his hair tied back. There was a young man with Down's syndrome upset who approached him and I watched as the staff member talked to him so respectfully and caringly and patiently! So positive and reassuring what a great member of staff should receive verbal praise, it's the little things that make the difference!"

we had a very nice meal in the ship. I never had a better steak. I always liked the ales. it's a shame they run out of real ales fast, but that happens when they're good, I suppose!

Popped in yesterday for lunch. Half price pizza pasta on a wed. Lovely food, bolognese pizza especially good. Also loved the sound of the hot sandwiches wraps for next time. Great service. Thank you

Love this place food is always very good . Bar staff are always friendly dog friendly. Great atmosphere. Need I say more. Best it’s ever been I’ve lived in Eighton Banks and Springwell Village all my life keep up the good work Guys

fab meal for grandaughters 18. eating served all at the same time for 10 of us excellent service of employees including happy birthday song. relaxed atmosphere playground for young family members and baby would definitely recommend. hope to come back many thanks to x

I am glad to say that it has a great improvement in this pub and has a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful new facility. I myself, my partner and his family have visited two times for Sunday dinners since the new management and were delighted by the kitchen, the wonderful friendly staff and the service as a whole. the black bell on Sunday afternoon is to die and cheap. I want to go back! I would highly recommend!
