"We were looking around for a restaurant with fish on their menu, not fried! We looked at the restaurant menu online and it appeared very suitable, so booked a table. We ate dinner on a Friday night and were quite surprised that we were the only diners in there. We were given the menu and our drinks order was taken. There is a second specials menu, which was a very reasonably priced vegetarian menu. We ordered the tuna £14), monkfish with prawns and parma ham £17.50) and rack of lamb £17.50). We were impressed with the presentation and also the fact that we received plenty of fresh vegetables, often small servings in other establishments. All were cooked to perfection. Each one of us said what very good, tasty food it was, the best we have had for a long while. We could not resist the desserts, priced at £4. We had the lemon and lime cheesecake and summer fruit creme brullee. My husband chose the cheese board at £6.50. He commented that it was the best one he had in 6 years! I have to say the quality, price and service we really could not understand why the restaurant wasn 't full! It also has a nice view, overlooking Ramsgate harbour. Go along , you won 't be disappointed!!"

Made an impromptu visit to Restaurant 66 for dinner. Had a lovely, tasty meal with a great view, shame more people don't go. Service was as good as ever. Thank you.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. It seems that the quality of the food has decreased while the prices have increased. This may be the reason why there were only six people dining there on Saturday evening.

This restaurant is one of the best in the area! You will not be disappointed with the exceptional service and quality of the food. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend giving compliments to the chef. We can't wait to come back soon.

Went to this restaurant last night with 6 other friends. Several menu choices were not available. A couple of us had the advocado and crab tower. It was awful and was incredibly watery. The pate was a joke and more like paste piped into bread. The fillet steak served on daphonaise garlic potato was like eating leather and the potato was greasy and over cooked. The waitress did not smile maybe because she knew the food was awful. We have visited previously and food was much better. Needless to say we will not be visiting again. A dreadful experience!!!

We were welcomed by a friendly staff member who was a little nervous, but very professional. It was only her 4th shift, but you wouldn't have known it. My husband ordered the fish of the day, which was delicious, and I had the best chicken Caesar salad I've ever had. I also ordered a red wine spritzer with soda, and the bartender came to ask me which red wine I preferred. It was a nice touch and the drink was delicious, I ended up having two. Our waitress, Olivia, was very sweet. The restaurant had a great view overlooking the harbor on a beautiful sunny day. We traveled 70 miles to Ramsgate to visit this restaurant and would definitely do it again.

Booked the meal the day before we planned to go as we wanted to try somewhere different. We were not disappointed. From the start we were looked after and made to feel welcome, the menu had lots of choice with a veggie option for myself and although they did not have a child’s menu at hand we asked the chef for a meal for my son. They accommodated superbly and my son was very happy. We were presented with olives and bread whilst we waited for our courses. A lovely touch! The food was swift and presented beautifully and there was plenty of it, we all left very full and happy. All in all a lovely experience and one we will return to again and again. Thankyou to all the staff, the head chef eve...

Given the reviews we were expecting a pleasant meal but it would we were either in a different restaurant or the chef had a hangover. Our starters of lobster thermidor (the lobster inners had not been removed, very unappetising) were bland and the beef kofta was mediocre. The main courses of gammon roast had the dryest meat we had ever been given , it appeared to have been left over from lunch service. It seemed to be a common theme as the minted lamb burger was also dry. The vegatables were good but less so the potatoes. We didn't bother with dessert. Beer on tap was good but poor selection of wine. Even though we complained about the food nothing was done. There is really no excuse for poo...

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."
