The Small Holding - Menu

Was never in the facility, but have been back at one of their pop-up events in Tunbridge Wells for a while and the food was absolutely amazing... So look forward to coming over her restaurant in Cranbrook and tasting her main menu!

A wonderful evening last night with great service and delicious food!! My compliments to a fantastic, talented Chef and his wonderful team for an excellent evening!! Will definately be visiting this lovely place again!! Highly recommended.

What an absolute gem of a place. We went yesterday and had the most delicious lunch. All so creatively made and presented. Wonderful local ingredients. Rates in one of my top meals of all time! Couldn’t fault the Small Holding. I just need an excuse to go back again soon.

what a little jewel! relaxed, friendly staff and atmosphere combined with the best in culinary genius. nothing is too much annoying. all nutritional requirements were met not only with understanding, but the cook surpassed all our expectations. keep it up, they were amazing!

Definitely worth a visit, the food was amazing and the wine pairing exquisitely well chosen and presented. It’s also impossible to not leave happy after a fantastic dinner and about 6 glasses of wine. The ingredients sourced from the local garden are also fabulous and the staff is lovely.

The small farm was recommended to us by locals who met with a wine tasting. It's a little expensive, but it's worth 100%. The quality and freshness of the ingredients, the kindness of the staff (they wrote me a happy birthday card!! and the innovation in the food is simply incredible. I'm so happy we went and I'd definitely go back if I had a chance.

The restaurant itself feels warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was friendly and quiet; not french or noisy. The tables are well spaced so you don't feel like sitting on each other. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was fast. There is a set menu based on the season in which you don't have an input, but that just meant that we don't get around the decision from a menu. It consisted of 10 courses and you will be sufficiently full by the end. It is great that food is produced all seasonal and locally. The food itself was creative, tasteful and well presented.

Gem in the middle of the country! From the moment you arrive you notice the attention to detail. Matt at front of house and his staff offer a warm welcome into the beautifully decorated bar. The selections of local and niche brand drinks are a welcome change from the norm. Food is wonderfully created by the amazing Will and has a wonderful way of again celebrating and resourcing local produce. From start to finish you will enjoy every moment at The Small Holding, regardless of if you are having small plates or full meal. Well done on creating a wonderful place to Enjoy!

We love to experience different places and fine food. The small farm didn't let us down. I have read some of the previous reviews and the very small amount of negative. Trust me you're not hungry when you leave. The taste menu had 9 courses. Each course is beautifully presented and delicious. But be ready to try food you may not have in the past. You will be very impressed. If you are looking for Filet Steak and Chips, this is not for you. If you want to experience a new culinary experience. This is a place to visit.
