"The service at this restaurant was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were welcoming, warm, and attentive. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in the kitchen and one of the main dishes was missed. Despite this, the staff were apologetic and removed the meal from the bill, handling the situation well. However, I must comment on the quality of the roast. The prices charged (£20 for veggie, £24 for beef) did not match the quality of the meal. The portions were small, with limited vegetables and overcooked Yorkshire puddings. The overall meal was bland and unremarkable. While the service was excellent, the food did not meet our expectations. We may return for drinks in the future, but the dining experience was disappointing."

Excellent food and great service, cannot fault that. Used to have a really friendly local pub feel to it. This is history. If you like a modern curated 'Cotswold ' feel then it is now your place. For me however, it is now a bit too done.

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Swan for our 54th wedding anniversary. The service was excellent and the roast we ordered was delicious. The additional items we requested were promptly brought to our table without any inconvenience.
