"We went for Sunday lunch on Easter day and it was very busy. Greeting was it's usual friendly meeting and our named waitress came to the table quickly. Food was brought out in good time but unfortunately the waitress didn't know which plate had beef on it and which was pork. The quality was brilliant though so we were very satisfied. We both ordered cheesecake for dessert but the same waitress delivered two creme brulee. She seemed quite combative when we told her the mistake. We then waited a good 15minutes for the dessert to be served. Again the quality was fabulous so overall we had a lovely meal, just a little surprised at the mistakes. We will go again as we know this was not a routine error."

Good choice of meals, good choice of ales. The food came well presented, no undue wait after making the order. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will be returning. All staff very helpful.

Always wanted to try this eatery, and it is a lovely place to visit, plenty of space round the tables, friendly staff and prices are ok. Food was nice but unfortunately I had steak which was cooked medium rare instead of medium as I asked for but I didnt want to bother them, and there was a bit too much salt used in something but couldn't tell whether it was the steak or mushroom. However this would not put me off going again, I just wont have a steak They serve lovely coffee so I was happy
