"The location and decor were wonderful however I felt the food was slightly over priced for what you actually got. The ambience in the restaurant was sterile with the usual piped music over a sound system where you could hear the kitchen staff more than the music...however when booking originally for 19:30 told it was fully booked so had to book for 18:30 where the restaurant was empty apart from 2 x couples with a very young child in the corner. We left at 20:00 ish restaurant still empty with no other diners there? Don’t understand why 19:30 was fully booked? ...shame. Food was ok along with good service however my starter of squid felt a little over prepared and presented where once getting passed the meagre squid was really a bowl of standard salad with crispy noodles, partners starter of prawns the same. Wine was ok however again nothing of note and over priced for what it was, same bottle available for £5 from supermarket and with a screw cap. I don’t mind screw caps but I do mind paying 4 x the price to open in my self!? Main courses good steak cooked well and parfait of duck a little over cooked but fine. Deserts fine too. great location and great staff...all be it a little naieve and under trained. not so great ambience and food acceptable. Price and portions quite disappointing."

Good menu choices. The food was excellent. Very comfortable. Very pleasant and efficient staff. A pity that our group of 4 were the only people in the restaurant having lunch.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the lunch menu had not yet started, despite being advertised on their website. We were not able to eat at that time. They offered us a discount on the menu, but we decided to decline.

The Chateaubriand meal for two is a fantastic experience, perfectly paired with a beautiful Malbec. The food quality is excellent, the service is attentive, and the ambiance is ideal for an evening meal. I had a wonderful time.

I chose The Town House after searching online for a special place to take my partner for a romantic birthday dinner, and it came highly recommended. I must say it was an excellent choice! The ambiance was beautiful, the food was superb, and the service from the wonderful Linda truly made the evening unforgettable. We enjoyed it so much that we've already made a reservation for New Year's Day, and we can't wait for the occasion!
