Love the atmosphere in the pub and the lovely food. And the staff are so friendly and helpful. Try it you wont regret it and will definitely be wanting to return

Average Pub Fare. Was OK but we didn't return as we found a nicer restaurant. We felt that the staff here could have been better. Fine if there isn't an alternative and pub food is what you want.

Lovely pub with great food and plenty of it. Staff friendly and welcoming. better to book as it gets busy in the evenings. Good range of beers on offer. Ate here a couple of times during our recent stay.

We went in for their Sunday roast. We all said it’s one of the best we have every had anywhere including my own cooking. Very large portions and lots of different fresh vegetables. The Yorkshire pudding was filled with crispy parsnips, lovely. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends.

We stayed in Shanklin for nights and ate out in Shanklin for of the evenings. This was definitely the best meal we had there. Great pub food at a reasonable price. The pub itself has a lot of character. Due to COVID and limited number of tables we booked in advance and we’re glad we did as we saw quite a few people turned away. Visualizza piatti

We didn’t book and turned up on the off chance we could get a table. We were warmly welcomed and offered table service upstairs. The staff were excellent and our server was particularly helpful and attentive, unfortunately didn’t get her name . The meals were delicious and quite large. We enjoyed it so much we booked to return again during our stay.

Very Nice Pub We used it for two meals during or stay in Shanklin (Evening meal and Sunday Lunch) both were excellent with big portions at very reasonable prices. On our last day we retuned for an evening drink and were recognised by the staff showing how friendly the ambiance was. Would recommend it if you want an old fashion pub with good beer and food.

The attention to detail and level of service was beyond expectations. My wife is gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian so menu choices are always limited. Thd chef came to the table and discussed options and made her a special meal which was delicious. I had the ribs which covered the entire plate by itself. The rib bones just pulled clean straight out of the meat. We will be going back! Visualizza piatti
