"I gave a 4 as my friends vegetarian dish she said was delicious. I chose the crabs pouring fishcake and being honest when they say it was a simple potato cake, I would have believed them. it was quite tasteless without a hint at any type of fish! the feast on which she sat was very delicious. the service and the ambiente were good so that we would definitely return, simply do not choose Bland table cake!"

The pub was quiet at noon, but that's probably because Ascot was on. The service was impeccable, attentive, without being overlaid and the food was delicious.

The meal was very enjoyable, but it was unfortunate that the fireplace was not lit as it would have added to the ambiance. The restaurant was chilly enough to warrant lighting it.

Decided to go out for Sunday dinner and booked the Windmill for an hour later! The restaurant had obviously been busy as lots of people were leaving as we arrived it was 3pm! Service was quick and food was great. It’s a nice place to eat.

all about the meal was good. but the restaurant was empty of us and a few families on a table with very young children. the children cried frequently, came down from the table and crocheted on the floor. it pamperes the occasion for us. the personal would have removed our table for two well from this group.
