Over from Germany and visiting Cowbridge with my family, we popped into this amazing place for a coffee and soft drinks. The staff were very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The coffee was great, the seats were comfortably, and the mood was cosy. If we had had more time, we would have stayed for lunch.

Our second visit in a couple of months and a late booking which was welcomed. We ate different pasta dishes for the first time which were filling and full of flavour (I tend to go for their pizzas because they’re always good). Chips are really good, glad the menu has changed from offering parmesan cheese as suitable for vegetarians. New menu choice not great if you are veggie and a lot of sections on pizza had caught, so was overdone for my liking and had to leave burnt bits to one side Vegetarian options: Needs more options Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Smashing family run business on the Cowbridge High Street where there is many a discerning customer. The quality is consistently high, service is very good and the restaurant is nicely assembled. My favourite is the tarragon chicken pasta although with five or so visits under my belt, every visit has been worthwhile. Pleased to recommend this place to anyone.

Went for lunch on a Thursday lunchtime (wedding anniversary as it happens). Nice relaxed ambience inside. Waitresses were helpful and not in your face. We had the sandwich, which is a flatbread (using pizza dough) which is split and filled with ham, salad, mozzarella etc, and comes with chips, plus a salad. We shared the two dishes and had a medium glass of rosé each. I had an espresso to finish. Portion sizes were more than enough for lunch. I'd like to try their pizzas in the evening, as the bread for the sandwich was terrific.
