"Tasty Indian food at super affordable prices in the heart of London. Located next to a YMCA and university campus’, this place attracts students and travellers alike. Great for grabbing a homely cooked meal if you’ve on a low budget. If like myself, your student and life on the roads days are behind you and you have a little bit more money to spend, there are lots of other great vegan places to go for lunch. The food was good but it wasn’t great. Super friendly staff and I would go back but I probably wouldn’t take company. Its not exactly ladies who lunch material. * next day edit After much thought, I’ve increased my rating from three to four stars. And here is the reason why. I ordered a second meal because the first one didn’t fill me up. But after eating 1.5 lunch meals (took some left overs home), I was comfortably full. So much so I didn’t need dinner. The next day, my body felt great. At the time I was eating the food, I wasn’t conscious of this because the food was a little bit on the oily side for me, especially the wrap and stir fry veg that came with the daily lunch. But the food digested really well and was clearly very wholesome and nutritionally rich. For that, Thenga Cafe deserves an extra star. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-02"

beautiful small Indian caffè with few fully vegan options. the prices are very fair and tasty. the owners are beautiful and there is a very cozy atmosphere.

Really glad I found this cafe bistro in the YMCA close to St. Pancras and King's Cross stations. Portions are big and good value and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. There's really no downside to this place! It's just a little hidden because you have to take the YMCA entrance to get to it. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-07

love cooking and baking homemade! so happy to have stumbled over this caffe on my trip to london. I worked all day and ate here. the prices are extremely reasonable! considering how high quality that is eating and how friendly the customer service is, you would think that this place would be the most expensive caffe in london! I recommend this place for work, meals and save money.
