We stayed in a room with a ruined mattress that prevented us from getting any sleep (thankfully, we were only there for one night). The breakfast was also disappointing, with dirty tables and subpar food. It's a pity, as the location is fantastic! Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 4

Adrian and staff are lovely, very welcoming and made us feel at home along with the locals. Breakfast was more than adequate a good selection of cereal, fruit juice and good selection of cooked food.Really good location for visiting other places of interest. Very disappointed with this hotel. Its is massively over priced for the quality of it. The bed was so soft I sunk to the frame when I sat on it. Rooms looked worn out and dated. TV was very small, the remote didn 't work most of the time and the TV signal was shocking so I couldn 't watch TV. Only had 'basket meals ' available for food. And on the Friday night they had a band on in the bar, sounded like they were murdering old rock songs. I wouldn 't have booked if I 'd known there would be a band on late at night. I was leaving early the next day so I wanted an early night but there was no chance of that.

I had a disappointing experience at this establishment. The room quality was quite poor, with mouldy grout in the shower, stains on the walls, and a lack of a headboard. The wardrobe was made of canvas and had broken shelves. Many surfaces, including handrails and tables, felt sticky. While the service from the lady at breakfast was excellent, the breakfast menu was very limited, and the only coffee option was instant. Overall, the place feels like it needs a complete renovation and some tender loving care. I'm relieved we only stayed for one night; otherwise, I would have been searching for another place to go. Rating: 1 out of 5.

I couldn't fully utilize the en-suite since the window had been left open for so long that it had become stiff and a bit rusty. The bed was comfortable, but the headboard had a metal bar running across it, which made it difficult to watch TV comfortably, forcing me to lie almost flat. In the morning, we were attended to by a lovely and polite young lady who took our order and catered to our needs. The breakfast was delightful and cooked to perfection on both occasions. It would have been nice to have black pudding included, but it wasn't a major issue. Overall, it’s a nice budget-friendly place to stay, conveniently located just a short walk from all that Tintagel has to offer. Visualizza piatti
