we loved it here! pizza is one of the top chancellors for the best I've ever had, which is fabulous and the staff was friendly and helpful. we had tiramisu dessert and it was perfect. it was one of the best culinary experiences. everyone!

This is a beautiful spot to enjoy a great meal, with good friends. The server went out of his way to help us read the German menu, and make excellent choices. All four of us loved our meals, and the view is amazing.would definitely recommend

we had never tried to taste this restaurant that existed there for many years. we have now, and that was a really nice experience, I would even consider going back! eating was pretty nice. location it is really worth...(hugh terrace outside with views of the saar). clean bathroom (it is important to mention it and very nice staff ladies. the owner is definitiw a real italian, seems a little rude at the first sight, but is in the did take care of his customers. I've been today with my family. The views are amaizing and the food is just OK. But the main problem is the staff and the lack of organitzation. We made the order at and the first dish arribed one hour and a half later....And the second dish at each time we asked for what was happening they only say: everybody is in the same situation very very rude.... do you think that is the best to answer your customer? If i were you....DON'T GO! I am sure you will find something better

Living in WincheringenSaarburg for more than years, we have tried a lot of restaurants but Bella Vista is from far the best Italian one. The chef , Antonio, we know him as he was running the Jungblut Saarhotel a few years ago is always...cooking the best fresh food which can lead to long waiting time, but this is definetly worth it. After having cooked , he always go around and asks if everything was OK. Far more different flair from the tourists oriented restaurants in the city center

We went here for dinner, firstly you go up some steps and then out on a terrace which overlooks the river what a fantastic view. The people were lovely, the place was spotless, the God was of a high standard, nothing left by the kids,...we had bruschetta and salad, pizzas and a carbonara. Considering we have been in the other pizza restaurant in this town and in another town nearby and this is way ahead in all areas. we have enjoyed this place for several years, and he never disappointed. it is best enjoyed in the summer months when the large terrace with magnificent views over the river can be used (see photos show clear sky on a sunny day). a rainy day like today is a table near the terrace a warm and cozy place. I don't think the menu has changed much since we first came, but that's not a bad thing. their meat dishes are great and locally inspired, pizza and pasta are excellent. they have a menu of specials that change and never deliver. highly recommended for food lovers.

This restaurant is perched on the side of a hill overlooking the Saar valley, great views. We had been staying in the area and thought the walk up the steep hill would be worth the effort. Ordered the euro starter, pizzas as mains...and drinks, The stater which was very good arrived in good time and was very pleasant. The restaurant was no very busy and other patrons arrived and occupied tables close by. We waited and waited and waited a bit more, The tables that arrived after us were now half way through there main courses. The tasty food is prepared by Italians from Puglia. There is a big garden with an old tree and a beautiful view over the river Saar, where you can sit, weather permitting. The restaurant can get a bit busy when it´s sunny, so it´s good...to come early to make sure you get a table outside or make a reservation in advance. The waiting for food can be a bit lengthy when they´re full, but the fact that they offer some antipasti olives, bread and a very nice aubergine dip for free and that you´re sitting in that beautiful garden more than compensates for it.
