Very good food, tuna was great, octopus starter too, pasta great... house wine good, generally good value for money... the ink dish was interesting

Abbiamo mangiato calamari, zuppa, pesce, vino della casa... Il cibo era molto buono, torneremo qui. Posto carino, non affollato e caro come Venezia.

Nice restaurant although the place next door, that actually belongs to the restaurant looks a bit shabby. Unfortunately the fish tasted dry and burnt. Pasta however was fine.

Eccellente pranzo tipico in un luogo molto frequentato dai locali. Siamo capitati qui durante una gita in bici. Personale molto cordiale, una selezione di primi, secondi e contorni. Ottima qualità e prezzo equo. Consigliatissimo.

Our B&B recommended this trattoria,especially if we liked fish. Loved it! Well worth the long bike ride in the rain for such tasty freshness. The bar next door was lively, and the restaurant too brightly lit to be 'romantic ' so it 's all about enjoying a good hot plateful, with delicious local white wine. Delightful waitress gave us an Italian pronunciation class too. Perfetto!

My mum stumbled on this magic place many years ago, and since that time as I come back home she bring me there for having a lunch together. Although I live in Venice Im quite sure that I 've never eaten such a great and tasty Frittura . First: the freshness and the quality of fish. Second the cozy atmosphere, its a place attended by fisherman and locals. Third, so good prices! Extremely recommended, also because is set in a cute area of Venice Lagoon.

Siamo capitati in questo ristorante perché era il più vicino al nostro appartamento vacanza e siamo arrivati tardi. Siamo stati così fortunati. È un locale con un piccolo bar ma con una sala da pranzo abbastanza grande. Non è elegante (c'era un televisore acceso senza volume). Molti locali mangiavano e bevevano. Ci è piaciuto così tanto che ci siamo tornati altre due volte. Tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato, scampi fritti, ravioli con gamberetti era davvero buono. Il servizio era rapido e disponibile e il vino era fantastico. Prezzi molto ragionevoli. Ci è piaciuto molto.

Four of us arrived back on the water bus from Venice into Punta Sabbioni a bit later than expected. The Belvedere is only about 5 mins walk from the water bus station so we decided to give it a try. Advertised at closing at 9.30 we were glad to be given a table at 9.20, and even more glad when we sampled the food on offer. Two of us had the spaghetti marinara which was divine. One had veal and the other Black tagliatelle, just as good. This was followed by four deserts (tiramisu and a tart). With a bottle of wine and two vodkas the bill was around 100e. This is a superb restaurant only ten minutes walk from the Punta Sabbione waterbus terminal. We pitched up at 13:00 for lunch and were chuffed to find the restaurant full to the brim of locals tucking in, and we were happy to sit and wait ten minutes with a beer for a table to become available. We had a delightful first course of spaghetti and clams, followed by the best Fritto Misto ever. €45,00 a head to include beer, wine with the meal, mineral water, desserts and an espresso each. Free limoncello too! The perfect birthday lunch for the boss! The restaurant has a much cheaper daily menu which is what most of the locals seemed to be choosing from. Don 't eat in Venice.
