Two Brothers Fish Restaurant

I am very particular about my chips..must be well cooked and crispy. At lunchtime they are done to my liking. The fish is delicious as is the batter. I live locally and have just started eating from this place. Now hooked. Great price too.

my main course was a large salat leaf with a grilled cocktail filling. it was cheap, simple and insulting. also eating my partner was disappointing. the beats and location are good, but they have cut the quality of the food to increase their profit. to be replaced. from the taste was quite clear that the oil was not fresh and also was not the fish. we had squid and chips and the haddock was very thin and I think was probably frozen fish and the chips were terrible. the big food went into the müll. is ordered by them again we had not in a time a meal of them and their food was really good earlier. that was very disappointing.

we visited the restaurant to celebrate our daughters success in exams somehow was disappointed with the food and service.The food standard was nowhere near our expectations and toilet smelt a nasty odour when I went to wash my hands. Worst of all only one waitress...was attending around tables. I had visited this restaurant previously and felt standards have declined immensely but Not due to Sorry for being too blunt but like to give honest reviews.

as others have said, it used to be a good restaurant. I remember taking customers there for lunch. you had to book. that's history. I fought with woman for lunch because I was looking for somewhere where I could have both oysters and doversoles. the oysters were served on an oyster plate without crushed ice. they were warm. not a proper vinaiigrette, but an industrial bottle tabasco. the doversol was both overcooked and tepid. the new kartoffels were as hard as golf balls. the restaurant was empty. I have passed this place by many times over the years. Today I went in and had a sit down meal. The restaurant is lovely to look at, with good design and the lighting sets if all off very well. The menu prices are reasonable...for the surrounding area, I do not believe in over paying. The meal itself was great my grilled Salmon was done perfectly, the chips were wonderful and basket of bread was too tempting! All condiments were available on the table. The lady who served us was pleasant and helpful. This is one more excellent Fish restaurant for us to visit again. For the price I believe that the surroundings and quality of food are some the best you will get in north London, if not further...

The food tasted good but so it should for those prices. The menu states that a roll is included with most of the main fish dishes but for us, the rolls never materialised. When questioned, the maskless manager/owner tried to justify it by saying that...not everyone wants a roll with their meal. Well, who said *we* didn't want one? Were we asked? Anyway, a bread basket then came with small pieces of bread in it so one and a half bits to share with my brother! It would have been good if the bread could have arrived before the fish too. Two visits in a week during our London visit to this well-known and reputed fish restaurant. The first visit was on the Sunday, and when we walked in and saw the place completely empty I remarked as a joke that we hadn’t needed to book!...This met with a fairly snarky remark from the lady who worked there, but she was to become borderline hostile later.
