"This is an awesome restaurant that services italian food. In the summer they open their big windows and you can sit facing out, in the window box so to speak. In the past 2 weeks we have eaten their 3 times. Their pizza is thin...crust and great. Their salads are amazing. Last night we had lasagna and it was so so. Don't pass this one by because it does not have table service. There are stations that you go to. When you enter each person is given a card, you can go to the lasagna/pizza line, the pasta line (they make it in front of you) and the salad line. There is also a bar and dessert station. Most water and pop can be gotten at each station. When you order you scan your card, when you leave you pay. Will definitely continue to go back there."

Very nice place when I visit Mannheim I am always going to Vapiano because I like their Pizza, Pasta and the green ICE tea!

All the time everything’s ok and good food, especially really good pizza. If you don’t know where you can go to eat, go to Vapiano, it’s a guarantee. Nice staff.

no good experience. ensemble. when we announced our application, it is close. very frustrating. the risoto and the pizza are exclusive. the speaghetti and antipaste is not. the prices skyhigh.

Arrived a quarter to six and there was no line to the pasta stations. The cook didn't mind to make a kids pasta carbonara even though it wasn't on the menu. The grown ups ordered pasta pomodoro and crema di funghi, which both tasted nice.

Working a conference at Rosengarten and this was our go to spot for quick lunches. I had pizza both times and it was ridiculously good. I only did takeaway but the restaurant looked very charming from the outside and I wish I could've eaten in...as well. Highly recommend for a quick, good lunch on the go when in central Mannheim and/or near the Rosengarten area.

atmosphere good, flowering, clean place an efficicent. I ordered a pizza base was good, but beats and cheese were inconspicuous. if they have only one hour to lunch - it brings them under pressure. also to delete various net counters to pay a swipe card (for order...your food,) at the food counter, at the bar, back to the cashiers - they would be free one day to do all these queues!

I wanted to eat gluten-free while out and above. that looked like it would fit the bill, but it was a bit too much for my pleasure. they get a card on the entry that has added all their food to it. they go to the various cooking stations to get their food and scan their card, then they find a seat and enjoy. not sure that the pizza ordered was gluten-free, although the request seemed to fall on deaf. except that it was nice to eat, but very warm in the inner sitting.

Was a bit disappointed with the quality of the food at this Vapiano. The concept at Vapiano's is great and the variety offered is always good (as is the ambiance and decor). The service was fine but unfortunately the quality of the food was not...right. I ordered a salad and Carbonara pasta. The salad was fresh but is was drowned in dressing and the spaghetti had all the right ingredients although something went wrong with the execution which resulted in a big glob' of spaghetti with Carbonara source all suck together. I admit that I was so hungry that I ate it anyways but I advise to watch for preparation mistakes or bad outcome if you visit there.
