"our third visit to a vapiano formula and unfortunately we discovered that a restaurant did not match the other. started by a warm welcome by a server clearly not so happy with his work. Although the place is quite empty (first clue?) (seat night at 6pm), the tables were not clean with empty and used dishes. I tried to order drinks at the bar, but no one was present (second clue.)? After a while, a friendly waitress came to help me. Unfortunately, problem with beer pressure - she did her best but beer was insipid. the soft drinks could not be ordered due to a problem with the card registration. During this time, some members of my company tried to order pasta. very antipathic personnel without any basic politeness to customers. This guy wouldn't make any chances in the vapiano londen restaurant. food itself: the pollo del orto pasta had a bad taste: the chicken was clearly too cooked. The Bologna pasta was correct, but nothing for what we would return. the lasagne al forno was the best dish we had. coincidence that it was served by the most polished waiter/kitchen? Anyway, we jumped our dessert and left the place as fast as possible. clearly of the work to be done here by the manager. (Is this handled anyway.)? I hope our next visit to a vapiano will be better, otherwise we will draw our conclusions."

waiting times terrible!!! I'm gonna use myself, okay, that's the concept! but wait (still!) 30 min for a salad and more than 45 min for pasta and risotto (of which two are no longer available), it is unacceptable. Where is the interest of the concept?!? the cooks prepare a dish at a time and do not go for the next. inefficiencies. And the restaurant was far from complete! positive points: two drinks offered. The pasta was correct.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there.We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious.For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable.One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
