"Needed a lunch stop before lunchtime finished so Via Mare was convenient even though I had some reservations given the mixed reviews. Well the setting on a terrace practically on the water with lovely views of L’Ile-Rousse definitely counts for something. I had a salad which was absolutely fine but nothing more and it seemed pretty expensive for what it was at 17 Euros. Service was good. If you want a lovely setting and ok food then go but don’t go if you are more concerned with having fabulous food."

Le service était très bien, le personnel aussi ! Les jus de fruits n'étaient pas coupés à l'eau et les glaces étaient bonne.

Très déçu, car après 1h d'attente à l'intérieur car terrasse complète. Nous sommes arrivés avant d'autres personnes et toujours pas servis.. Donc nous sommes partis....

Much better than a lot of restaurants in the center. Good food and nice view. Price on average. We have been there for a couple of times and always satisfied of food quality

Nous sommes arrivés tardivement (22h) et malgré cela nous avons été très bien accueillis, le cadre est magnifique, la cuisine rapport qualité/prix est tres bien Loup pour madame et tartare de veau pour moi A refaire un midi pour profiter encore plus de la vue

The view is nice, the food is average to be honest, as we do not speak french we could feel from one of the waitere that he do not like us, he never replied to us in english at all, did not look us into the eyes on the other hand we saw he was much nicer with others, unfortunately this made our experience pretty low.
