Popped in for a coffee and a snack, server not really interested in making sure I was happy. Other customers were also snapped at by the server. Plus a cafe in 2020 with zero wifi. I wont be back.

My son and I visited during the help to eat out scheme. Although the restaurant was extremely busy we were seated and our orders taken. Food and drinks came quickly and the food was extremely good value, plentiful tasty. The staff were efficient pleasant and we will definitely return.

Waited over 40 minutes for service. 2 staff said they would be with us in 'a minute ' . Eventually a menu arrived. I indicated I would like to give my order straight away but got a rude esponse.. Left without eating. Bought a lovely filled roll in a neighbouring sandwich bar and sat in the sun

I took my gran and my mum for lunch for my grans birthday, the service was really good very welcoming and friendly staff. The food came well presented, huge portion and looked very appetising. The food lived up to expectations and was great, a good price for a lovely lunch! Thank you we will be back!

Been for breakfast twice now within two weeks, very good and very cheap. As I work within hospitality myself I could tell the staff cared about there customers and where very professional. Only bad thing was the mushrooms on the breakfast where a bit greasy but for the price I wasn't bothered as still a lot better then other places

Generous with portions, very busy, greeted by a lovely selection of cakes. Quite a lot of choice available, lots of specials too, I had a flat bread with chicken bacon and avocado, lots of side plates in tow, tortilla chips, coleslaw and salad) toppings generous and tasted great. Bought a couple of cakes to take home as too good to leave.

What a lovely friendly café. Called in for a snack, had toasted teacake followed by scone with butter, cream and jam ...the best way and large mug of cappuccino. Very friendly staff nice relaxed atmosphere lots of homemade cakes on offer . Food was very good coffee also good . It's in the square so it's also possible to sit outside in better weather . I shall be returning

Oh my!!! One of the best afternoon teas we’ve had. Such good value for money, beautiful home made savoury and sweet items. Can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to return to try the normal menu items as the food that fellow diners were having looked great! Lovely girls serving on, so welcoming and friendly. Shame it’s not dog friendly as my dog comes everywhere with me, but I’m sure I will be returning either without pooch or to sit outside in the warmer months. Definitely recommend! Well worth a visit! :

My partner and I were treated to a spot of lunch by my parents today. First time for us but the 'rents had raved about it for a long time on their many visits by canal boat to the area.The food was delicious. Home cooked and generous portions with so much to choose from. The service was spot on too, very friendly and looked after us so well, even during these Covid19 times. All social distancing and government guidelines well in place and adhered to. The processes they have in place work well and visitors are clearly instructed on what to do. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone, top class hearty homecooked food, friendly service and very reasonably priced. Will be back!
