good food, good service. the bar was extremely full and very loud, but our table was ready and eating quickly arrived.

not to be a more relaxing place. barservice for the order was hectic and loud as restaurant. eating was okay, the ambiente pampered it for us.

We enjoyed the food but the price off a pint of pale ale at £5 50 is really expensive so took the shine off Sunday Lunch and really do you need all those big screen TVs too noisy. Visualizza piatti

None of us really appreciated the setup at the Village Group. It was impossible to eat and enjoy the entertainment at the same time. The service at the bar was very slow, which was disappointing for the whole group. I also had a badge that came with so many restrictions that it ended up being useless.

My husband and I enjoyed the all-you-can-eat Chinese option, but it was quite disappointing. There were only five items available, along with some prawn crackers. The food was lukewarm, which was really underwhelming. I was expecting a better experience, especially since we don’t dine out very often. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the Chinese evening.

I never recommend anywhere to anyone, we arrived for 6.30 as booked, ordered food, it came after a while but we were not in a rush, I also ordered a coffee for after the meal which arrived at least 30 minutes after we had finished eating and we had to ask, the tables weren’t cleared after we had finished eating, but the staff were busy and not enough of them as there were 3 parties as well as other hotel guests and members of the gym Visualizza piatti

The selection of starters and desserts was quite disappointing. We had high hopes based on recommendations, but the food did not live up to our expectations. Throughout our visit, we noticed several other diners expressing their complaints as well. Our table wasn't cleared between courses, forcing me to move the dirty dishes to the bar just to make space. The meat I ordered was tough and unappetizing. While I understand that the restaurant is going through a transition, this information should have been communicated at the time of booking. Ultimately, we ended up spending £50 on meals we couldn't enjoy, and I doubt we will return.

Unfortunately we had a table booked, but the roast were almost all finished by the time we arrived. Luckily a staff member came over and talked us into staying with three children and would rustle up two roast dinners and the two boys picked burgers (3rd a baby). Staff couldn't do enough for us, gave us a discount on our bill as there were no more starters left and explained that the whole menu style was changing the following week so it wouldn't be all you could eat anymore. Roast came out on chopping boards, cute but not ideal, tasted a bit too salty and was missing a big lump of mash potato. We went for the brunch menu which we have had before and me and my partner brought friends who where over from Ireland. I dont why it had changed from the way is used to be set up but it was terrible, the food to help your self too wasnt even ready and out when we turned up so we had to wait before we could get any soup and bread, then range of starters was tiny and terrible but just in bigger bowls than it used to be. It was about 15 minute wait for the bread rolls, and then took the staff over 20 after we had finished the soup before relaising we had and asled if we wanted the roast which took over 15 minutes to come out and even when it did the veg was burnt and discoloured, things where...
