"Visited this place early Saturday afternoon, the place was very busy. Staff were very patient and helpful. The atmosphere in the place was nice. We only had soup and a sandwich with a drink, plenty of choice of fillings for the sandwiches which arrived with a good amount of filling between the fresh slices of bread. The lentil and spinach soup was thick and filling. The next visit will be for a high tea which must be booked in advance as we witnessed these delightful towers of goodies being delivered to tables throughout our visit. Would recommend."

A great place for lunch in Arbroath. Warm, quiet and hospitable plenty of space between tables and chairs. Food good and plentiful for the price.

Staff were rude when asked if I could take the coffee away as it was simply too hot to drink in the timeframe I had available. Certainly will not be back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Delicious lentil soup and a lovely tuna sandwich on soft brown bread. We hadn't booked but they had a few empty tables. Would highly recommend this eatery beside the Webster Theatre in Arbroath
