Wee Restaurant - Piatti

First time visit 20/1/24 for dinner. Lovely restaurant, staff and outstanding food. Had the 3 course option, very course perfection, will definitely return, highly recommended do not miss this gem for a special occasion. Stuart Kim.

We visited the wee restaurant as a treat, we found the food was lovely albeit a little overpriced for what we got. We were disappointed in the service by the front of house staff who we felt at times were unwelcoming, which came across as condescending verging on rude and felt rushed.

Beautiful setting and tasty food! A hidden gem that we would definitely return too. Cocktails were amazing. My only reason for a 4 star is because the chips weren’t homemade when paying around £30 each for a main course of meat and salad and then paying extra for a side of chips you would expect them to be homemade hand cut. Had a lunch date with my daughter. It was my first time at the restaurant and it will definitely not be my last. What a ‘wee gem’. Had the halibut that was on special and it was delicious. With fennel, samphire and pine nuts followed by a vanilla panna cotta with plums. My daughter had the freshest scallops followed by mussels as a main. Service was excellent. All in all a lovely experience

This is what a meal should be like! My wife and I visited the wee restaurant on a Friday night, I had been before but this was my wife’s first time. The food was absolutely excellent, the chocolate crème brûlée was to die for. I opted for a steak but when I seen the special lamb rack served to the table beside us I was very jealous! Thank you to the wee restaurant for the fantastic service and amazing food, we hope to see you in 2024! I cannot recommend the wee restaurant enough! A must visit.

The Wee Restaurant is now our favourite local spot. Having come for our first time in November of last year, we instantly knew what to recommend to our friends and family as a Christmas prezzie. Back again with our voucher, we took full advantage of their cocktail list. I really enjoyed their Coconut Daiquiri and my partner the Negroni. The food was outstanding yet again and great value. We didn’t make it to desserts but will be back to sample them soon I’m sure. While called “The Wee Restaurant” it certainly delivers beyond expectation. A very cosy and warm restaurant with the most delicious food. Ethan Vicky were so attentive and seemed to really care about how our night went. It felt as if we were old friends that they were welcoming back. I cannot fault the food on any aspect, I would’ve paid triple for what I got. If you want a fantastic little treasure that will beat any preconceptions then this is the place. Ate here with friends on 16.12.23. A meal of a lifetime. Lunch back in September 2023 (beautiful Halibut) merited a return visit. The “Calamari Friti”, not their description was cooked to perfection (a nice crunch). Fellow diners started with plump scallops beautifully seared. Cod with a lobster cream sauce followed (surprising amount of lobster). Fellow diners had the Turkey dinner which was delicious. On the recommendation of friends, we visited the Wee restaurant on 6th January and were shocked and appalled at the manner in which we were treated by the very rude and dismissive owner. Our table of 4 was originally booked by telephone on 16th December for 6th January at 8pm and confirmed by a lovely woman who enquired if the booking was for a special occasion to which I advised it was my wife’s birthday. The time of the booking was amended to 6.15pm on 30th December by a young male who initially had to check if this was ok but confirmed the booking could be amended.
