"In August 2021, my wife and I dined at this restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and beautifully decorated. The menu met our expectations, and the staff were very helpful in providing recommendations on house specialties and unique flavors. I’m not a huge fan of curry, but I always order the chicken dupiaza when I go to a curry house, so I can make accurate comparisons. I must say, this was one of the best I've had. The dishes were flavorful, and the portion sizes were generous—no complaints at all. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again."

"6 of us visited here on Sunday evening for my son 's birthday, partly because we 've had a nice meal here before and also because of the 50% off mains offer. The starters were ok but the waitress cleared our plates before my dad had finished eating which we found rude. Then our mains came, again they were ok apart from my steak which was as tough as old boots and definitely not cooked medium. It was that bad that I couldn 't chew or swallow the meat so had to spit it out onto my plate. No one came to ask if everything was ok and when the waitress did come over to ask if we were finished, I told her that I couldn 't eat mine as it was so tough and all she said was I 'll tell the kitchen . No offer of a new piece of steak or a different meal so all I had for my tea was a few fries. I watched her take my plate away to the counter and start cutting it up....as if she didn 't believe it was tough. If it was nice I would of ate it I 'm not going to send it back for no reason , I was hungry!!!! Again she cleared some plates before everyone was finished. We then ordered desserts. After around 20 mins of waiting we were told there would be another 10/15 min delay. For that reason we cancelled them and asked for the bill. The waitress or manageress or whoever she was, brought over the bill and said she 'd taken a small discount off the steak. My husband said no we wanted the steak taken off the bill as I 'd had no tea. Her reply was that it was only half a portion. He told her it was a full portion and as she was tugging the bill out of his hand she said If you say so Unbelievable!!! She reluctantly took my steak off the bill. They also add on a 10% surcharge without any mention which is also based on full price. not the price after the 50% off was taken off. I can categorically say we will never eat here again. I 've never known such poor customer service or rude staff!! There are much nicer places to eat in Westkirby that aren 't rude to their customers!!"

"Visited today for the first time. Arrived just after opening and found a table. Dog friendly which is great for us. Good choice on the menu. We had to order our drinks first even though we were ready to order our food too. We then ordered the full works breakfast. Food was nice and plentiful. Service was friendly but we waited about 40 mins for the breakfast to arrive, by then we had drank our hot drinks. As I said the food was nice but we would if enjoyed it more had we not been rushing to finish as we needed to leave to collect our son."

"There's plenty of parking available, and it's conveniently located not too far from West Kirby beach, making it a nice spot for a stroll afterward. The highlight of our visit was definitely the staff, especially one young woman with striking green and black hair who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Despite the busy atmosphere, she handled everything with ease and made our experience even better. I just wish I had caught her name because she truly was fantastic! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of choices for vegetarians. Parking: Ample parking available close to the entrance. Kid-friendliness: Many families were there, and it appeared there were lots of options for children to eat and enjoy."

"We visited during The Open mid July 2023 and ate from the special Golfers’ 2 course menu. I had the pork dish while my husband had the slow roasted lamb. Both were beautifully presented as well as delicious and served with seasonal vegetables cooked to perfection. Homemade bread and butter pudding and baked Alaska followed; both were the best we’ve ever tasted! We were told that this place is all about the food and indeed, the food wouldn’t have been out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. The service did not disappoint either. Julian and Jackie are a fab team. Yes, the decor/ambiance could maybe do with a tweak or two but this place is a hidden gem on The Wirral and great value for money."
