"On a recent visit, we passed this spot with our two small dogs, called them up and were happy to hear that they won't mind our furry friends joining under the table.The menu is a typical (in a good way) Hamburg fare. I was looking for a place where my father could "sample Hamburg" and this was it. Fish, potatoes, herring, you name it.The quality of other items was also superb: from apfelstrudel to gluwein and to tea. And the food is cooked to order, which really makes the difference in how fresh it comes.If you're looking for a place that will deliver a great Hamburg menu, with friendly ambience and central location that is nevertheless off the tourist path – this is it. 5 stars out of 5, and a hat tip to the manager/owners."

Das Lokal besitzt einen eher unscheinbaren Eingang und befindet sich ein halbes Stockwerk unter der Straße. Essen war lecker und der Preis angemessen.

Ci sono stato dopo la visita al miniature wonderland che si trova sullo sponda opposta del fiume Elba. Cucina tipica tedesca , ottima la birra un pò meno i cibi. Simpatico ed onesto il proprietario.

Der Titel beschreibt es. Das Essen war lecker, die Location eher Durchschnitt. Die Wartezeiten waren recht hoch (Viele neue Gäste, ToilettenAufgrund der Fülle an Möglichkeiten in HH muss ich nicht erneut hin.

Polecam dla zgłodniałych turystów w Hamburgu, z zewnątrz wygląda niepozornie, lecz obsługa jest b dobra, a jedzenie w dobrej cenie i smaczne. Zjadłem tu najlepszy makaron z kurkami w swoim życiu! Samo miejsce ma interesującą historię.

Wer nicht hingeht und die dortige Küche probiert ist selber schuld.Wir haben gerade dort vorzüglich gegessen. In der Nähe der Landungsbrücken bietet es sich an vor dem Musicalbesuch dort einzukehren.Essen sehr gut kund die Preise im Rahmen. Wir kommen wieder .

Die Kartoffelsuppe als Vorspeise vorzüglich, das Wiener Schnitzel als Hauptgericht deliziös und der warme Apfelstrudel mit Vanillesoße als Dessert ein gelungener Abschluss. Die dezente Musik im Hintergrund tat ein übriges für die zuvor erwähnt angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Das Westminster ist fast ein Muss in Hamburg! Klein aber eine tolle "Kneipe"! Urige Einrichtung! Total netter Service! Seit 1990 derselbe Wirt! Toller Typ! Und das Krabbenfrühstück kann man zu jeder Tageszeit genießen! Dazu ein frisch gezapftes Köpi! Was will man mehr! Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer wieder!

Wir waren rundum zufrieden, satt und glücklich ! Sehr netter Service, einfache aber leckere Küche, die wir mit einem "Groupon" Gutschein ausprobiert haben. Wir würde auf jeden Mal noch einmal her kommen. Nur an der Dekoration/Raumathmosphere könnte man noch etwas arbeiten, dies ist jedoch "Meckern auf hohem Niveau"

I was at Hamburg's harbor anniversary with overcrowded front lines and piers. I escaped and found the bistro with a old/modern design touch. It is located on a corner street with few steps downstairs. Was friendly greeted and was offered local food specialties, i was very happy with the food and service. You can have table service or sit at the counter and have a chat with the team. It was a true relaxing moment from the busy harbor line. I decided to go there daily during the festival, few meters away from the Baumwall, metro station and also walking distance from the Steicherstadt touristic area...will definitely return when back to the city.
