"Saturday night approx. 18:00 in Bonn and we are registered with 11 people. The places are shown to us very quickly and friendly, there is nothing to use. There are still some tables of the brewhouse unoccupied but it is quickly very full and therefore unfortunately also unusually loud. We have a very nice waitress that is supported by 2 other services and so we come very quickly to the first beverage order, which is not served too long afterwards in 2 or were it even 3? steps. No matter, it's all for our satisfaction, beer whether with or without alcohol is nicely fresh and tastes excellent, also the other drinks are well cooled and completely okay. Even my non-alcoholic light tastes unusually good, although I don't have much thirsty on an uncasted light or dark. Since I took the ticket service, it's taboo this evening! The ordering of our foods can be waited for some time, the waiters are, in my opinion, overwhelmed due to the large number of visitors, they can't do it! At some point, it's time and we order a total of 3 appetizers and 11 main dishes. The appetizers are at the table in a reasonable time, there were 1 serving of obatts and 2 liver dumplings. My Obatzder looks very good, a huge portion, it is commented as...almost the main dish... and indeed, for 7,80 € I have 2 large balls of Obatzden, 1 Brezn, 2 large slices of bread and a salad set. The cheese preparation has a beautiful cumin note, but the ingredients were too much soaked in the mixer or were delivered in the factory. Rather not my case, because I like to see the parts of the Camembert used. The liver dumplings at 4.90 € each were called very tasty to me. To the main dishes, one of which was served only after a long time, it was supposed to have been delivered to another table: 3 times Old Bavarian carving with a panade of horseradish and mustard, with semmelknödel, dark beer sauce and small herb salad. There was a piece of murder from a carving in a crowned panade, the meat was impeccable, but the panade with only very little or very mild? Prepared horseradish. The very large semmelknödel was really good, it should have been a bit more of the dark beer sauce, for that the little herb was not small at all and tasted great. For each 14,80 € a portion that is difficult to handle and up to the, from us all too low horseradish note, qualitatively and tastefully excellent. Schnitzel in Schwammerlrahm, with pommes and side salad for 13.90 €. The meat quality is also excellent here. However, the swammerl consisted of a few champignon legs and addressed to it meant the operation, ...summerl is a collective term for mushrooms of all kinds... Unfortunately, that was a weak consolation and a similar answer. Well, that was the weakest part of the evening! Bavarian species with bacon onion sauce, barrel sour wort and homemade puree for €11.70. Huge liver dumplings, a very tasty sauce, as well as sour wort and a potato puree to which one liked to believe homemade. Our friend was completely satisfied, but the crowd hasn't been able to cope with them. Peasant schnitzel with bacon and egg, semmelknödel and supplement salad for € 13.90. Were described to me as a good taste, but also here the competitor weakened, he didn't pack everything but this is better so, too little would have been worse. ; beetles with browned onions and salad for 9,20 €. Our friend was delighted with the taste, it looked fantastic, the amount was more than enough and the previously fed Brezn to 1.40 € gave him a delightful evening ... I can no longer... ; 2 times rust roast sausages with barrel sour wort and potato puree as an 8 serving for 10.20 € each. This was served finely dressed in a large iron pan and the two sausage friends were very happy. But even here, the portions were so rich that they didn't make everything. The over-counting sausages took me long, would've liked to try. Homemade salvator bead with onion rings, remoulade and roast potatoes for 9,90 €. Very well arrived and also looked very good, the roast potatoes irritated me, but there was nothing left! Conclusion: All in all, it was for all of us a good conclusion of a beautiful autumn day and despite the great volume and the small weaknesses we will return here on occasion. Then I order the crispy porkshax 'n with dark beer sauce, a giant beetle and Bavarian herb for €14.80. From appetizers, I'll look for it. If there is still need for the sweet end, I would like to thank Aunt Paula 's apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. One must not be missing and that is a thanks to the service. They were very good, always had a nice word on the lips and that despite the hustle and bustle in the fully occupied host house. Thank you very much, so many service providers could cut off a few slices!!!"
