"My husband I had THE best date night last night at The Greyhound on the Test Everything was faultless, from being shown to our table straight away, impeccably timed service for our drinks and food. I liked that we could order some wines in a carafe size brilliant! can highly recommend Sixty Clicks Sauvignon Blanc. My starter was incredible still lusting for it now which was the Potted Chalkstream Trout! WoW! Good potion size for a starter maybe for two to share?? Who cares it was licked clean virtually! My main course was fantastic the Pan Roasted Cornish Coley Loin superb! Finished off with some incredible 'Sweet Treats '.... (petit fours). Thank you to all the team for a truly great night out! ????????"

"Havng visited my son and daughter-in-law in Andover recently he booked The Boot as his choice of restaurant to celebrate his birthday. We were greeted by a lovely barman who saw to our drinks and very quickly we were shown to our table as the...reception for bookings and diners is adjacent to the bar. Furbished well and up-to-date with decor and seating that is a mishmash of different tables and chairs, which seams to be the in thing. We were given a well polished oval table very near a back exit door which to where it led i have no idea as we dined in the evening and it was dark. As a party of six this table allowed plenty of elbow room in which to comfortably eat. The shape of the table ideal to be able to converse with everyone which is always nice. The waitress was prompt with menus which are truly extensive with the addition to specials on boards mounted on the walls for everyone to see easily wherever you may be seated (more than one board). Needless to say we all took a time to choose. We all had starters, deep fried brie, soup, prawn cocktail and sissled king prawns in garlic with choritzo X All served more or less together which allowed us all to start at the same time. Each and every dish well presented, generous and enjoyed by all. For main dishes we had, belly pork with crackling, texas steak, lamb shank x pasta, and the most enourmous mixed grill i have ever seen in my life. Unfortunately my son would not allow me to photograph it, had to be seen to be believed. Again good presentation arriving in stages this time but with very little time to wait. We were asked if all was ok a short time after starting which i actually like, i feel this is a nice personal touch rather than here is your food i am off now Although they had a wonderful selection of desserts we honestly could not manage another mouthful, you know when you are sensibly full. I had a french coffee and my husband an ordinary coffe rather than more alcohol!!!! The reason for my title is that two table away from us Craig Revel Horwood was dining with what appeared to be a partner and what we thought we heard was his Mother and another guest for her birthday. Although a celebrity i can honestly say every diner that evening was treated exactly the same apart from the Chef coming to the table for a chat. Can live with that and the darlings heard more than once obviously. On paying at the desk on exit we meet the lady owner and her great loving puppy dog, to whom was only allowed out after talking to her, The Boot was more or less empty when we left. So if you like big dogs, be sure to cuddle this big softie he is so adorable. If in Andover and you do not want to be let down by going somewhere to dine i so highly recommend this characterful place to eat and drink. All in all a fantastic experience. This Landlady has so got it right, long may she continue."

"The main building is easily accessible, and just a few steps away, you’ll find spaces for dining, drinking, and relaxation. The food is of the highest quality, featuring many local ingredients. This time, we dined at La Hutte, an alpine restaurant where we enjoyed a generous three-course raclette meal. On previous visits, we have eaten at the main restaurant, where the menu is thoughtfully curated, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff is well-trained and provides exceptional, personalized service, ensuring that guests feel at home. I particularly enjoyed the "treatment shed," where Giovanni offers mobile massage therapy. My massage was excellent and perfectly complemented a relaxing weekend in Stockbridge. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"Came to the crown the other day for some dinner and omg it was horrible food was cold, just chucked on a plate and had 3 hairs in it, when entering staff were very nice but when we said to the man behind the bar that became very rude like it was my fault the food wasn’t very good, the cutlery we had still had water marks on it and the knife I was given still had the last customers food on it, we spoke to a little blonde girl couldn’t be no more that 15 (witch if I’m wrong is agents the law) and she literally said sorry can’t help you and then walked away, we asked for are money back and the reply we got was no get out and don’t come back, to top the lot of when a man can out the kitchen in chef white he was picking his bum and a dog came out the kitchen, the owns should be very ashamed to have staff like this and even letting a dog in the kitchen is a breach of eho and can be shut down, there wasn’t any COVID protection in place (as far as I could tell) due to a look all man stand right next to me, after asking him to move away he sware and said I will stand we’re I like.... avoid this place like the plague"

"We stumbled across this fabulous pub over a wintery lunch time and whilst exploring Stockbridge village. Having not planned to eat out, we were offered a very warm welcome and a great choice of beers and ciders on the pumps. The fire was lit and the pub was busy with locals and visiting diners, so having found ourselves seats right by the fire, we couldn't resist checking out the lunch menu and we are so glad that we did!!! Our choice of a starter and a bar snack were not perhaps conventional ones, but the crispy baby squid was perfectly cooked and served with a beautifully dressed salad. The gourmet chips were a similarly delicious accompaniment that would easily challenge some of the best we have had. Although we were perhaps not dressed as well as we might have been, the service was excellent. Unpretentious, smiley, efficient and attentive. The service extended to our dog who was offered water and a biscuit. Thank you Team Three Cups We'll definitely be back and have already recommended this pub to friends."
