Yu And You Restaurant And Bar

Food was good but the portions were small. Tap water cost £3:50 a bottle and tasted awful. Prawn crackers were £3.50 and are normally free elsewhere. Tasteless Asparatus and Broccoli was £7.95. It was a treat for my wife after forty years so I said nothing. I'll pay anything for quality but this was a rip off.

What a beautiful place this is Excellent hosting and service, fantastic drinks menu and cocktails and the food is out of this world It was our first time visiting and we were blown away by it, such a lovely evening with our friends, enjoying delicious food My personal favourite was the King Prawn and Scallop vermicelli, incredible.

Have visited Yu You, later Yu, now Copster Green Restaurant for many years commencing following Gordon Ramsey program! It was excellent! I no longer see members of the Yu family in the restaurant! The menu is largely the same! Strongly recommends customers to avoid the ‘banquet menu’! Trying to be balanced and fair. Unlikely to return.

Beautiful restaurant, bucket loads of atmosphere, highly recommended. Not your average Chinese restaurant; contemporary and sophisticated with a first-class delivery on all levels, as good as the best in Manchester. We had a beautiful meal, with excellent service, yes it was a memorable meal, thank you. If you have not been, you must try it!

One of our friends booked this restaurant, and I was little worried after reading the most recent reviews, about the service. I needn’t have been. Excellent from start to finish. The bar is a great place to meet before taking your seat. The good atmosphere continues into the restaurant. The food is excellent. Decent wine choice. Great night!

Very slow service lots of apologies but constant delays throughout the service. We have been here several times and the food is good and can carry 7/10 service but the food alone is not good enough to carry 5/10 service. Lot of excuses about how busy they were on a Saturday night !! Food was decent chicken starter, crispy duck and sea bass were the stand out dishes..

We were here for Valentine’s Day. I had booked 3 months before as I knew we were staying in a hotel close by. I was very much looking forward to our meal. It was delicious, don’t get me wrong. I really enjoyed it. I think because we’d built it up as such a great place to go we were a little disappointed as our usual Chinese restaurant near where we live would be better food in our opinion and mildly cheaper but it was still very tasty, the ambience was lovely, staff were great. Regrettably, despite the restaurant's appealing decor, pleasant ambiance, and decent cuisine, its consistent deficiency in service compels us to forego future visits. While the prices suggest a level of service that would justify the premium, our experiences were marked by prolonged waits for seating and orders, exacerbated by staff members preoccupied with personal conversations rather than attending to patrons' needs. Booked here to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and we have been in here a handful of times and always had a nice time with attentive service. We walked in here and the locals were gathered around the bar as usual talking to the bar manager and we walked to the other end of the bar and stood, and stood and stood ignored for a good 5 mins !!
