"Este es un restaurante de los de siempre de Vitoria, cuya carta ha ido adaptándose a los nuevos tiempos de la gastronomía`. No deja de ser un lugar donse se sirve comida de calidad, a precio de comida de calidad, es decir, que resulta caro.Está en la Avenida Gasteiz, una de las arterias principales de la ciudad. La decoración es bastante clásica, y la carta, que es lo que importa, es en general muy acertada. A mí me gustaron especialmente las Kokotxas de merluza con salsa verde y el Strudel de manzana."

An amazing place to taste good food. We tried the tuna tartare, the shrimp carpaccio and a beef chop. To finish we tried several homemade desserts and they were all delicious. The unbeatable service. I will without a doubt repeat this experience! No se puede decir más claro: es uno de los restaurantes vascos que entra todos los años en las quinielas para llevarse una estrella michelín, aunque todavía no se la han concedido. Es carísimo, llegas a los 80-100€ por comensal sin darte cuenta, pero es excepcional, un local al que puedes llevar a tus compromisos más importantes sabiendo de antemano que va a ser un éxito. Ojo a los platos con trufa, simplemete, sensacionales.

"To start with we enjoyed bread, patatas bravas and my husbands pork was delicious. The house red was very good too. Unfortunately my tuna cheek was dry, tough and I could not chew it, it was returned to the kitchen and they responded with its cooked correctly, my husband tasted it and said he normally loves tuna but wouldn’t be able to eat it. As we’d just arrived in the city after a long journey from Caceres I asked for it to be removed from the bill rather than choose something else. This is when the owner/manager insisted we pay in a very aggressive manner and we once again said it was inedible and it is not fair to pay for something that is impossible to eat. He offered a coffee as compensation but I don’t drink coffee. His response was to call the police, within 10 minutes 5 policeman arrived and we were informed that it is best to pay and then write to food standards, as we were leaving early the next morning we obviously couldn’t do this. See Tripadvisor review dated3rd May 2018 by BARR 66 whereby the customer had a similar experience and was not charged for his disappointing main. We’ve ate in many places in the world and have never experienced anything so distressing! We met a lovely young Spanish couple in Velvet bakery the next morning who happened to dine in SUKALKI the same evening as us confirmed that tuna should be served pink in order to retain its flavour and tenderness, they were very sympathetic to our situation."
