The food is okay stereotypical of old fashioned Italian restaurants. This very crowded, noisy, popular local is instead an exercise in production they will graciously, pleasantly process your efficiently in and out rushed is the word in a hour. No breathers,...no pauses, but a kitchen and wait set up for at least three seatings. The pasta was very good, so was the pistachio ice cream, the rest resembled the Italian restaurants years ago. I have been to Zianis a few times and each time the waiters have been rude to my boyfriend who is very tall. At first it’s a harmless joke which he is used to, but last night they laughed and teased him so much that...one of them was actually standing on a chair. It’s very personal, it made him extremely uncomfortable and he was clearly not joining in in this public humiliation. I won’t come back to what is already a very average restaurant.

How you imagine a traditional neighbourhood Italian restaurant; celebrity photos on the walls, red leather seats, white table cloths, long serving Italian staff. Discreet location off the King's Road. We enjoyed seafood pasta, spaghetti bolognese, delicious tiramisu, accompanied by Chianti and limoncello. Buzzy vibe but...not overly loud or hectic. Reasonable value for this part of town. Could offer more choice of wine by the glass and the tables for two are a bit cramped. Overall a good experience.

NOTE: Ziani's entrance is not on the street side. It's tucked around the corner. One enters from the alley into a back room where there are coat hooks and the bar service emanates from here too. The dining room is small and the tables are...close, but it's a lot of fun to dine where locals dine and it's family owned, which makes for a different atmosphere than restaurants that are staffed by professional waitstaff with no skin in the game. Recommended by my daughter a delightful small traditional Italian restaurant.Food served quickly with excellent presentation and flavours. We visited on a Saturday and the restaurant was busy but the staff (and there were many were quick and efficient) you could choose to eat quickly or...dine at a leisurely pace. Only down side , and I haven’t seen it in years was a cover charge of per person! With a bill for over for people it seemed unnecessary it was clearly displayed on the menus It seemed a bit unnecessary.

This little Italian on Radnor Walk in Chelsea has a lot to offer comfort food namely with some good wine choices and once you have been a few times the staff have some decent (but varying banter! Only criticism would be the speed of...service if you’re not careful and understand the need to separate your knife and fork to avoid quickly moving on to the next course then you’re fine; otherwise you can have a course meal in record time! Still, it’s a great little off piste local in Chelsea which is always a crowd pleaser when you take friends for something near the King’s Road. . .

I have sympathy for this restaurant, these are difficult times and there were more employees than customers. Problems are that this caused a slightly disturbing atmosphere when the waiting staff encircled or spicy beside our table. the food was mediocre. Um...fair my partner enjoyed the baked noodles with ham and cheese. the fish soup was not so attractive. the fish itself was warm and quite gumy. the deserts of filled pancakes and profiterole were disappointing. all prepared before, why not cook a pancake when it is ordered and there are so few customers? the personal was probably not the slightest interest in why eating on the teller was not eaten. with wine for two mediocre courses, not a...
