zizzi is my fave English chain. the vegan options are diverse and all very delicious! one of the better Italian food chains if this is your type.

Zizzi restaurants are always a reliable and 'safe bet '. I dined at the Chichester branch and found it good on all counts food, service, price etc. Recommend

this place was really helpful. my vater can not have wheat milk or gluten and he was so happy that he could have more than one cup tee there were two vegan options and a veggie. nice log fire and play a piano. also the tee was loose tee I love. everything is organic. they serve the fish so not all veggie, but everything is clearly marked and the personal was happy to help. really beautiful place. I came here with my mother for lunch. the service was good and the waitress friendly and helpful. we are both lactose intolerant and were impressed by the milk-free menu. we even had a fantastic milk-free sticky chocolate and praline pudding that was as good as a milk version. it was labeled with a milk-free sticker to avoid mixing. we have in the rule not many milk free options if it was so enthusiastic. 10/10 zizzis

The meal was good. We got there at 7 and by 9 we still hadn't had our main course however, we were given a free drink. But the main complaint was I booked a table for 4 through Opentable, they sent a confirmation email straight away and then a reminder the day before our booking and, then, when we got there, they didn't have our reservation! Luckily for us they could accommodate us but I would have been pretty annoyed if they had been too busy to. Next time I will print off the confirmation, but if they were full there wouldn't be much you could do about it! Not impressed with Opentable

Maitra D seemed like he couldn't give two hoots, wasn't interested in our open table reservation, he didn't seem to be tracking them. He put our table of 5 at the back of the restaurant and wasn't helpful when we wanted to move. Despite there being better tables available. We settled with what we were offered as we're hungry (family). Our waiter was better, which balanced the service. Food was good. Delivered hot, service a little slow but not the waiters fault. Seemed understaffed. Kitchen staff (we were next to them) were unprofessional and talking quite loudly about how they would like to date (for want of a better word) one of the waiters sisters.
